We had the privledge of having Judge Walsh preside over the adoption of our child in 2010. She was fair of all parties involved (birth parents, the child and ourselves)and as frustrating as the delays were for ourselves, ensured that the birth parents (including the father) had appropriate counsel, and were of complete understanding of the actions they were taking. We found her to be compassionate of all involved in a very difficult situation, and were confident in her abilities to follow the law to a "T", to ensure no future issues. Sorry...in complete disagreement with what you "heard".(Judges are paid a salary, not a per case basis.....and compared to other careers is actually not that high paying.)
