My mom lives in Cottonade as well. She did not report any info on injuries. Just a lot of damage. Neighbors seem to be taking care of neighbors. What street family on?

Seems it has been very touch and go - my mom's house fine, I now know, but half the homes in the neighborhood damaged or destroyed.

OK, Yes we have family there and need a little information. Isn't Reilly road the one that is just north of Bragg going into Spring Lake?

The area that was damaged is near the Reilly Rd gate on the southwest side of the base. Spring lake is northeast from there and I haven't heard of any damages in that area. Hope that helps.

There are trees down on parts of that rd. no power still. I did not go down the whole rd, as no cars are allowed down there. I had to walk from Blockbuster. Lots of damage to the gas station at that corner (Yadkin & Summerhill) Most of the damage appears to be Riley rd, fr bragg, pizza hut is gone (from what I heard) and cars are stacked, lines are down everywhere.(it was getting dark, and there is a 9pm curfew tonight)

My family home is on Weatherford, near to Dunmore. It sounds like the worst of the damage was on the other side of Cottonade, closer to Ft. Bragg. Though the tornado was spotted hovering over the corner of Hallmark and Weatherford.

Sounds like roads off of York were hit hard, I think the older part of the neighborhood. The road that runs closest to Ft. Bragg, right along the woods (can't thing of its name) was reportedly very badly hit.

I heard that every other house in the neighborhood had a tree thru it, just about, but it seems not to be in the part of the neighborhood closest to Bonanza/furthest from Bragg.

Hope that helps.

Between reilly rd and yadkin is pretty damaged some worse than others some houses passed by barely damaged others destroyed from bottom up. Tornado went thru the base and destroyed part of bragg blvd no one can go down bragg nor can anyone get on base hardly.
