It's really spooky to me that the killer has not been found. Her body was found so soon, and there were so many people who saw her just before she was taken... it doesn't make any sense that there are no leads. It was almost too easy for this guy. I feel so bad for her family that there has been justice here yet. I hope the billboards and other continued efforts conclude with the finding of this killer and closure for Cori's loved ones.

That is creepy that there are no suspects yet. Was this a random act of kidnapping (wrong place at the wrong time), or did the suspect know this young lady, and stalked her until the perfect moment to do the crime? Sometimes, I wish there was a "big brother" type of serveillance up in every town and street corner, video taping what is happening in every moment. Wouldn't it be great if when someone disappears, you could just rewind the tape and see exactly what happened, and catch the suspect immediately?

The fact that Cori Desmond's killers are still out there, is terrifying. What's also scary is that they haven't found those creeps that tried to drag those young women into their white minivan.

I miss Cori greatly, but the last thing I want to live in is a Big Brother surveillance society. Besides, whenever police conduct comes into question all those cameras always mysteriously malfunction. It's a pattern already evident in Great Britain. The CCTV system is not for crime so much as keeping the general population in a state of voluntary and paranoid self-policing. That is the opposite of liberty and freedom.

"Besides, whenever police conduct comes into question all those cameras always mysteriously malfunction." How do you know this? Can you cite specific examples? Put down the mystery novel. Some fresh air might be good for you.

As I drove along the highway on my way to Big Bear last weekend I too wondered why someone hasn't been caught yet. It must be so very painful for the family to lose a daughter and then have the crime go unsolved for such a long time. My heart goes out to them.

I thought the same thing when I was driving up to Big Bear. It was a creepy and sad feeling. That poor precious baby never had a chance to have her own family.

I feel their pain... but, this is silly waste of money and effort. Yeah like a guy driving down Artesia see this sign and call the cops because he knew who did it after all this time...

It isn't a waste of time, somebody knows who did it and they are walking around every day with that guilt, the more they see that people haven't given up and the more they see how truly loved Cori is, hopefully the weaker they get, and they just talk, talk to somebody, anybody. Let's not give up hope and lets find this pyscho. Cori Daye is very missed and very loved and surely her father and family cannot sleep at night without doing all that they can do. Our thoughts and prayers are delivered to the Desmond family daily. xoxo Cori's old neighbor

The guilty parties will be caught eventually.

As a Father I know Mr. Desmond's heart is broken. Daughters are suppose to bury their Fathers not the other way around. Mr. Desmond can spend his money any way he wants - what we should do is start a charity drive to keep them up longer. I am optimistic that as long as we keep Cori's billboards up and people/law enforcement are vigilant we will get this creep.

Daughters are not supposed to die before fathers, and especially this way. Bravo to you Mr. Desmond. Keep this in the news and in our minds until this is solved and Cori can rest at peace.

Its just sad what happened to Cori. It was unfair to Cori to have taken her life in such a cruel heartless way. I hope that the billboards stay up until they catch the person/s responsible for her death and may it be a constant reminder to the killer/s of what they did to Cori and everyone that loves her. I dont plan to take my bumper sticker off till this SOB is caught!!

Someone who was at that bar that night knows something, and isn't coming forward. I'm amazed at all the "friends" she had who claimed to have been there that night, yet none of them cared enough to walk her to a car, or make sure she got home safely. Her "friends" at the bar who do know something should step up and help out with this investigation. Somebody there knows something and isn't saying anything!

It was more of an effort to keep Cori on the minds of people that do live around there and did see something that night. The family did not want the old saying of "out of sight....out of mind" to come into play which is why the effort to keep her picture and her story in the news and in the media was so stongly sought after. Not such a silly waste of money and effort when something good comes out of it, is it???
