Two of the Five Buffalo Shooting Victims From Derby

Paramedics rushed to Buffalo's east side to help five people shot on Hirschbeck Street early Wednesday morning.

I feel for the families of this awful tragedy. My daughter was there as she tried to revive Joesph Lovett back to life encouraging him to hang on for dear life. I know this must of been a hard thing for her to do to try and help bring him back into life and then watch life leave his body. I hope they catch this murder. This cannot go unsolved like a lot of the murders in the city of buffalo. May the Good Lord enter into his kindom nineteen yearsold Jamie Norton and Joesph Lovett.

I wouldn't put it so crass, but why was your daughter out in the middle of the night?
Why were there 3 people sitting in a car in front of the home in the middle of the night?
Why were all those people stuffed on the porch fighting with each other and the cops fully dressed?
None of them were in pajamas.
As I said in my posts in the other threads, why weren't ANY of these people in bed where they belonged?
As for Shirley's suggestion in another thread to open up buildings for these kids to get off the streets--- they have a place to go-- their dam own bedrooms, and if they don't have any-- then what the hell are their parents doing? Don't these parents know where the hell their kids are in the middle of the night? Do they even care?
oh they care allright when their kid gets killed and the cameras are rolling---THEN they scream "this violence has got to stop!"
And screaming at the mayor isn't going to help. HE is the one out on the streets in the middle of the nights: YOUR KIDS ARE!
And WHY ARE YOU ALLOWING THEM TO BE ON THE STREETS???
And why did this real nice boy from Derby have a three year old kid?
If you don't see anything wrong with that, you are part of the problem, not the solution.
I don't care if he was taking care of the baby, he had no business having one!
or didn't his parents teach him any values, like safe sex? using condoms?
Stop trying to put the blame on society, or the mayor, or somebody else. The blame lies on each and every one of you irresponsible parents.
You don't NEED a building for your kids to be in to keep them off the streets.
They didn't have them in the depression days. Yet that generation didn't go around killing each other off and hanging around in the streets at all hours of the night.
A building to keep the kids in?
Again, you are shifting the responsibilty of raising your kids to somebody else.

Kids from Derby or whatever small town do not belong in that area at 1-2-3AM. There are usually 2 reasons they go to an area like that. Drugs or SEX. Only thing it got them was DEAD!! DEAD don't change. IT'S FOR KEEPS.

I guess it's hard for a girl to find heroin out in Derby. I am sure you can get pot, LSD and some powdered cocaine, but if you want heroin, you have to drive into the city

rumor has it, the woman was contemplating opening a roofing business. she was in the neighborhood to check the availability of materials for her new enterprise. her main objective was testing large rolls of tarpaper. i surmise she had her fill.

Guess I'm a wuss - I don't like going into the city in daylight. Had to drive South from the Arena one night after a Sabres game - past some projects - scared the heck out of me. Glad my car didn't break down. Can't wait until the new Bass Pro get's built - that parking lot should be a riot after dark.

Gotta love the "cool" shooters. Try getting a pistol permit here in New York and it's so limited and revokeable for farting in the wrong manner but they seem to skirt that part of the process. More gun laws won't help either and it's nice that Mayor Urkel had the lawns on Hirshbeck mowed to give a better look to the street. Like putting a ribbon on a pile of dogshit.

I pray that this family, seeing what all night house partys do to a person, change their ways and become decent people with jobs, which they obviously don't have, otherwise they'd BE IN BED SLEEEPING AT 4 AM LIKE OTHER HARD WORKING FOLKS!
I also pray that this family learn how to conduct themselves, and not stuff their porch fighting each other and the police and showing everyone via tv cameras exactly the kind of lifestyle they lead.
I pray that they see the light and see that their choice of lifestyle is what brought about the events. but I'm not going to hold my breath.
