My belated condolences to the family of Mister Pavlick. I also commend the gentleman for his honorable service during the second world war. However, it should be noted that his obituary states that he served in the United States Air Force, is inaccurate. Mister Pavlick served in the United States Army Air Force during WW2. The Air Force did not become an independent branch of the US military until 1947.
