I think that most people are absolutely clueless about what "Spice" is. Only a few brands of "Spice" actually has synthetic THC in it. The big problem is that all these types of incesnse are being classified as "spice" and not all of them are as dangerous as people make it out to be or even have these ingredients that make it considered spice. The type of spice that is causing ER visits are the brands that are trying to mimic what reputable incent dealers have created and guessing on the ingredients (visit, http://www.k2verified.org/ ). Here in America we have the right to smoke cigarettes at the ages of 18 and 19, which contain so many harmful and cancer causing ingredients like cyanide and arsenic, Kills MILLIONS of people a year, and yet we are trying to ban a substance that is not even for human consumption. Should we ban Duster and Whipped Cream? People abuse those as well. This whole thing is as prejudice as racism. Americans pick and chose based on their personal "beliefs" what other humans can and can't do. Now how un American is that? I have one solution to this problem. Legalize marijuana. Stop the mexican drug cartels and give the people what they already want, which by the way has ZERO fatalities from it's use.

so very true.i started smoking damiana which is an herd that has some of the same effects as marijuana and has helped me stop smoking pot.i have had none of the problems the media reports.i did my research before i smoked it and this particular herd has been used for hundreds of years as have many other natural substances such as mary jane.the only reason i started smoking this stuff is to pass a drug test if needed.so they ban this and someone will come up with something else and on and on.pot should be legal or maybe alchohol and tobacco should be illegal since those substances cause more death and disease than pot oh and what about cars and guns and knives.

Kills me how people that don't even use this can even begin to try to say that they have all these side affects, well let me tell you the real truth about spice, because unlike these so called experts,I have tried it,it didn't make me sick, It didn't make me hallicainate, and it didn't send me to the hospital,In fact the high last half as long as a marijuana high(I know because I used to smoke that too),so don't try and tell me all the horror stories, just a big scare tactic, brings back memories of the movie Reefer Madness where the experts said we would go around killing people if we smoked marijuana, but I guess I could be Joe Six-pack and drive around killing people, come on Utah the so-called experts didn't even try spice, till they do don't tell us what will happen it you smoke it,by the way I'm a 55 year old professional who has worked at the same job for over 25 years!

Pot is one of the most safe substances that someone could use to get high. I cannot believe that pot is demonized as bad as it is. Marijuana has soooo many potential uses other than the obvious use to get high. I personally have trouble focusing on certain tasks for long periods of time. When I do things that require long spans of focusing or performing a task I tend to lose focus after a while. I have tried medications such as ritalin and aderal, and to be quite frank, I do not find them effective solutions for the problem. However, I do finding the use of marijuana very helpful in correcting this issue. My mind moves very fast and I find myself constantly thinking, sometimes too fast, which can at times break my concentration, especially when i am being fed information. Marijuana slows this from happening and I find that I absorb more of what is being presented, because the mild high pot gives you, has a calming, relaxing effect. I also find the use of pot great when doing something creative. I write and produce music and i DJ......if i am in the studio, some days i may not be in the right mood or i just might not know where i want to start in a track......when i find myself in that mood, smoking some pot immediately puts me in a better mood, and actually gets the creative part of my brain moving. I find it an invaluable resource for anything that requires creativity and extended periods of concentration. Marijuana, is pretty harmless in terms of toxicity. It is impossible to overdose from weed, and there has never been any documented death from weed. The biggest part of the stupidity of pot being banned, is the fact that alcohol is pretty much pefectly legal. Everything about alcohol is pretty gross, and it causes more problems than most drugs, espcially more that using marijuana. Alcohol severly effects judgement, and coordination, it also is very bad for the liver and cause you to constantly urinate, because it stops the body from producing a certain chemical which i can`t recall off the top of my head. Once the alcohol is broken down in the body, one wakes up with a hangover and cannot fall back to sleep very easily. Alcohol causes sooo many problems with relationships, families, and life in general, that it baffles me why we are allowed to drink it, but not smoke a dried plant, as is...unlike other drugs derived from a plant like heroin, or cocaine, marijuana is simply dried, and ready for use. The plant material used in the process of making heroin or coke has to undergo many steps by a chemist in order to become a drug. Marijuana is a better alternative the the use of alcohol, a marijuana high is very mild compared to alcohol. You are not impaired when you are high on weed, and your judgement is not effected in a severe, obtrusive manner. Have you ever heard of a domestic violence incident happening because someone was too stoned? ever hear of a father beating their kids every time he gets high. usually the worst that happens is you might start talking like a stereo-typical surfer, and eat a bunch of food. There is no long term damage to the brain from the use of pot, and the benefits range from reversing certain types of cancers, to helping artists work more effectively. There are next to no benefits from the use of alcohol, and the problems it causes with legal issues, as well as health risks are just ridiculous. Our country clearly doesn`t have a clue, at what is good for us....they make the one drug we are allowed to use, the worst one possible, and put people in jail for choosing a safe alternative. Should we really have to turn to synthetic cannabinoids because weed is illegal? it seems really stupid to me....you can go to a store and buy computer duster and sit around and inhale that until you`re blue in the face....and thats fine too...doctors can prescribe drugs that cause dependency, like benzos, and opiates but sorry, this plant that has been around for cewnturies, nope sorry not allowed.
