Should local developers receive stimulus money?
#1 Mar 31, 2009
This is a tough one. I'm all for giving money to devolopers as long as it is a researched project that will end up actually doing good for the area economy. However, if it ends up like the fast ferry or high falls we all lose. How do you decide who gets it and who doesn't?

how can anyone justify a waterpark for a boost in the local economy in new york state, come on, enough's, enough...you only get 4 months of warm weather and when does this stimulus gouging end... Put into manufacturing and housing, not water parks!!!!!!

Who are you kidding? This money can go to so many better things to get out economy going. And then when it goes bust we get to pay again to have it all torn down. Remember the Fast Ferry.
