My sincere sentiments to the family of this missing man. It sounds like people are not taking it seriously because he was Navajo? or an alcoholic? As a family member stated: "He is still a human being!!"

I am very sorry that the family has not been able to locate him.

There are many possible things that could have happened to him.

I will pray that the family will find him and put their worries to rest.

This is so sad. My prayers are with the family...but this really upsets me. My issue is if he was non Navajo, he would be on the Missing People. The Navajo Tribe needs to step in and help this family. No matter if he drank, he still has family who worry about him. And closure is needed for them. May God be with them.

I feel for this family. I wish you all the best in locating your missing family member.

Is there an updated sketch of the individual? Perhaps you can make flyers and place them up as well as the internet.

If he was a white guy from Durango who went missing in Farmington, those FPD's would have tore up every house in town to look for him. It's becuz he's Native and Atlannii that nobody cares.
I don't think that's the case. The problem is there is no evidence of foul play. Also, it's on the Navajo reservation. If anything, the family should be going to their local senators, etc. to get the case recognized so this man is back home with his family. I wish the family all the best in finding their loved one.

Who's the owner of the car he was sitting in at Smith's? He could not have disappeared off of the face of the Earth, he's somewhere and somebody knows about it!

This is not a race issue you know that. It is that he lives on the rez and the Navajo Police dont care. The Navajo Police Department does not look out for the people here on the rez even though that is what they are supposed to do. He will be found I know that in my heart. I just hope he is ok. God bless the family and the missing man. We need to look at the Navajo Police and the way they are run.

Sarcasm doesn't help the situation. You are an embarrassment. Think about what your comment portrays about yourself.

My thoughts and prayers to my brother Wilson's family. I have known him ever since I was a kid. He's always smiling. He kept to himself and didn't bother others. We miss you, and I hope there is a new development soon.

Just as I said the Navajo Police needs to be more interested in the missing people. He lives on the rez his family dropped him off in Littlewater. If she was that worried about him why didnt she make sure he made it home instead of just dumping him off. If he had 2000 dollars on him which I dont understand. If he normally drank till he was out of money, then odds are someone he knows was the last one to see him. What about the car he was in did they check the owner. We are supposed to respect and care for our elders and it is sad how they just get dumped off to walk home alone.

The only thing I have ever seen the Navajo PD do well is direct traffic. They get it almost rite sometimes when they actually use their flares. They are not responsible for anything, they will actually put the responsibility of searching for someone back on the family. If I am wrong please correct me and share with the forum a good experience with the NPD. I am sorry the family isn't getting the help they need in searching for their family member. I truly hope you find him or he comes walking through the front door.

The Happy family seems to be down on their luck lately--a missing person and a three-year-old burned to death in a house fire. My sympathy goes to them.
