You, Chris Shay, should have kept your shut and let people continue to wonder if you were stupid. You had to open your mouth and confirm their suspisions. You say it's the media's fault for reporting the incident(s) and that's "what makes the fire fighters and police officers look bad. If in fact theys guy were treated like "noral people", they would have been terminated within the first 24 hours! Quit while you can, you've demonstated that you are stupid. Don't prove u r a Jerk.
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
This is getting ridiculous! I feel that my fellow firefighters should be punished. What I do not like is the fact that a coward such as yourself hides behind a fake name and continues to think of themself as GOD. You are not the judge, jury, and executioner. You are a normal person like everyone else that seems to think they need to degrade all that the fire service is. We are not perfect and you call me stupid. We make mistakes and you call me a jerk. You make fun of good firefighters and police officers that have DIED doing this job and you mock them and there families who are in pain. You will not have to answer to anyone but the good Lord above for you derespect and hurt that you have placed on a lot of people. No one may know who you are on these forums but I know that you are a terrible person for a lot of the stuff that has been said by you to many of the people on this blog. The time will come for the firefighters to answer for their actions and your time will come too, for the same reckoning. I hope that one day people will see that things happen and people make mistakes. Should they be punished yes. Are you in charge of that punishment no. But you feel that you need to DRAG people through the mud and kick a person while they are down. So here is me turning the other cheek. God Bless you and your family!

It sounds like you could be that extra 3rd person they always have on that show. It appears that you are qualified.
I wouldn't know since everything I've ever heard about the show doesn't entice me to watch it. You guys really do have a lot of extra time on your hands since you know all the tv show lineups.

Not even close.
Anybody that hangs laundry like that out on the internet for all to view is a fool.
I'd would love to see him her and the "hose man" all on Springer.
If she is 40 looking like 70, I don't know if I'd care to see her get any beads.
Face it, this is the internet not a school yard, ABC is bashing some SOB hose man and I'm bashing ABC.
As a dedicated trowl, I love to stir a pot.
I hope ABC and the little lady out the hose man, and it winds up posted here!
Do you have anything you want to share?
I and, I bet others would love to laugh at you.
Seems as though you chose the correct screen name if his shows are as "white trash" as people say.

So why aren't you responding to the posts who are obvious firefighters who are degrading people on here and acting like Jr. High girls? Thought they were suppose to be above behaving in such a manner. They are the ones who started responding to the public's posts and being down right disgusting and mean. You should be jumping on them too.

<quoted text>If you work for FFD or any other department, you just showed on here how really special you think you are. Is it a joke when you or one of your "brothers" breaks up a marriage? Is it a joke to cause someone in a relationship heartbreak? Guess so if you think it's cool to wreck them just because someone may be attracted to you because you wear a uniform. I had my marriage of 12 years destroyed by someone wearing a uniform. We had been high school sweethearts. After he helped destroy our marriage and our children's lives, he dropped her like a hot potatoe. She thought it was "the real thing" he was playing a game. Prior to this she was a loving wife, mother and teacher. Now she's divorced, lives on SSI in a HUD apartment. After he left her she gave up and became addicted to pain killers. He broke her heart along with mine and her children's. So do you think you're such hot stuff now? Do you think it's funny and a notch on your fireman's helmet to wreck marriages, relationships and kid's lives because you look so special in your uniform? She's 40 years old, looks 70, doesn't go a day without crying over losing her life with us and not understanding how he could do this to her and walk away unscathed. Yes, you're really something in your uniform.
So if this is really true come out of the closet and go ahead and tell who this "Unscathed" brother is.

I agree the two fire fighters made a "huge mistake", but they are only human, just like the rest of us. It takes a special person to become a fire fighter or an EMT, the stress and trauma they deal with everyday, day in and day out. What they see in one year, an ordinary person does not see in thier lifetime. That is what makes a fire fighter and EMT's special. Evidentally the fire fighters are calling out for help, so maybe the City should provide better counciling for all the heroric individuals.

Wow, that is the problem with growing up in a small town. Good points, how does Jason Sandel and the AWS mgt group deal with these issues? How many of us have made similar mistakes, are we all evil and worthless? I know that I am grateful for the opportunity to learn from a DWI I had years ago. It was my second, The first one 16 years previous. Thankfully my supportive supervisor gave me the opportunity to keep my job and prove my value. I know not everyone has had that opportunity and I have not ever proven him a fool. Haven't drank since and have learned to show some of the same empathy on others. If these guys have a history of being goofballs, maybe they should be ran off. Let their bosses who are paid to make those decisions decide. I have a hard time believing that with all the good things I have seen and heard about the fire department, that the place is as worthless as people make it out to be.

Thats the problem, The bosses (Chief and Deputy Chief)have had simular problems with the law. How can they decide the fate of these guys when they got away with it themselves! The FFD policy for these issues is weak and broad for a reason! Multipal DUI's in a few years and NOTHING CHANGES!
