Festival of Trees

Well, another Festival of Trees has come and gone, and who won the trees? I've spent several years buying tons of tickets to try to win a tree--nary a one. What are the odds? LOL
Not nearly as many nice trees this year, either. I wonder if the average Joe or Jolene would be losing interest. I know I am; this is the last year I will attend and certainly will never again purchase tickets for a tree.
Carry on clique.

Sorry you feel that way. The festival will go on with or without you. It is for a good cause and a fun way to spend some time. There is no way the drawing is anything but fair. Saying that, I think it would have been wonderful if the family that won all three kids trees would have taken the children up on stage and said something like [in the spirit of the season, we would like to share and have you draw again for tree number so, so.] That would have set such a great example for not only their kids but the entire audience. Unfortunately, opportunity missed. This is in no way anything against the winners. I do not know them and they won fairly.
