What difference did it make in this accident that the deceased driver did not have an attached seat belt; and, who is the expert who can answer that question?

She was ejected from her vehicle and pinned. It isnt hard to figure if she was wearing a seatbelt.

"Tears in Heaven" and another star shines brighter tonight because we lost a young one. I have an 18 year old daughter and I wouldn't know what to do if something were to happen to her. She's my baby! My condolences to the family.

Ref: Cravin morhed...there may be overtime positions for seatbelt enforcement as well as speeding, but you see the lack of seatbelt and speeders everyday in this community. The traffic situation in this town is horrible and the police need to start doing their jobs and quit sitting at the Village Inn and the IHOP!

People who whine about the police doing their job, are typically the same people who whine when they are issued citations.

I would be willing to bet you get to eat at your job.

Oh, one last thing. You are an idiot!!!

You are obviously blind, or have your head up your backside. Drive down main street one time and COUNT how many babies are being held in the front seat, three and four year olds throwing things out their back windows and better yet, waving to you as you pass them. Our police officers do have overtime "positions",( not posisisions ) and work very hard at seatbelt interventions however as a parent, WE are ultimatly responsible for teaching our kids and REINFORCING seat belt rules in our own cars.

Jessica was 18 yrs old. she made the decision to not wear her seat belt. yes it is unfortinate that she died but she might of not seen the van coming. her and god are really the only ones who know what happend. it was her time to go home. if not in a car accident god would of found some way to bring her home.

rip Jess
