Aztec looks to revitalize the historic downtown

Aztec considers another project which they will not complete. Wonder when they will complete the medians, north main extension, bypass to nowhere. Maybe even consider the citizens as to utility increases. Main street businesses might have a chance at success if they were subsidized like the out of city limits golf course. Sounds like priorities are a little misguided.

Now the city is purchasing the HUB building. An out of the way place subsidized by the city. Next it will be the golf course purchase. No wonder the existing main street business can't succeed with the present self serving agenda commission. Four of the city commissioners are clueless. However, they think they are doing one heck of a job. They need to ask why the recent exodus of several businesses.

They have to gear it towards the younger generation. More eateries, coffee shops, pubs, cinema, boutiques, etc. Aztec has lots of potential to make it a tourist destination. Quit letting the old sore heads hold you back.
