I heard rumors comming from your neighborhood on how the KBO/CF leadership would say how easy it was to manipulate the Navajo voters, and leadership into doing what they wanted with the Schools.
Well it just happened to you BIG time, with this election. The only thing Randy won was his Seat on the State school board association. His CCSD board seat only has as much power as the rest of the board lets him have.
I heard rumors too. I heard you are actually Matthew Tso and not Ed marquez. I also heard that your district spokeperson James Preminger is actually a guy who used to be named Jim Snyder who was a reporter for the DT and Gallup Independent. Jim Snyder used to write articles bashing CCSD under Linda Bessetts administration. You seem very well informed, could you please shed some light on these 2 rumors?

Awww...not my valentine, but I have an affinity for Mongol hoard sub-commanders. There so Earthy and single-minded. If you won't do the Valentine thing could you at least answer the James Preminger/Jim Schneider doppleganger request?

While I don't know where Shiprock, AZ is, I think this answers your question as it does look as though they're one in the same person.:

"James Snyder is the public information officer for Central Consolidated Schools in Shiprock, Ariz. He is a former reporter with the Farmington Daily Times, the Albuquerque Journal and the Navajo Times."

It looks like someone held your hand and did your work for you. Maybe we should give you a 50% for effort.

No thanks, I earned a zero I'll take that zero. I have no problem with taking full responsibility for my actions or lack thereof. Isn't that the most logical way to look at this issue of the no zero policy? I mean I understand the math behind the no zero policy but the idea of someone who does no work or refuses to put forth any effort and not addressing their attitude towards their education but rather creating a more forgiving system in the hopes that they will "get their act together" seems shortsighted to me. We are failing our children as schools, as parents and as a society. It's time we wake up to the reality that the "arrested development" that we are enabling will surely be the downfall of our community. As entertaining as I find the "back and forths" between you, the Manning's and whammer jammer, I am always left wondering if you (all of you involved) were to put your skills to better use and try to come together for the sake of your community, the apathy, discord and the racism and bigotry on both sides of the issue might start to slowly ebb away and maybe, just maybe, we could move forward and get something meaningful accomplished. Hand holding once in a while is OK, a hand out, however, may do more harm than good.

I just read the latest installment from the "kirtland community" as represented by Byron and Chris Manning.

The whole thing is a very subtle, clever and deceptive lie.

The PEDs basis is that even with a large navajo majority people like Byron and randy could undermine the basic democratic principle of having your voice heard on how your children are educated. Their unethical and immoral racket with randy being the defacto CCSD board, and Byron being the superintendent was the issue that the PED did not want to repeat with the formation of KSD.

The threat of civil rights suits were and are a very real possibility for CCSD the state, and the manning brothers. Any parent of a Navajo student could file a complaint against the district concerning the behavior of the past administrations conduct.

Maybe if someone did that we would find really how bad CCSD was before the housecleaning.

And, based on the Constitution,'taxation without representation' will bring a whole new light on the future of this and many other issues. Not done yet...more to come. Stay tuned

W hammer.... You must be some dumb uneducated redneck who probably blames the Mannings and CCSD for giving you a bad education. For you edification, "taxation without representation" is not a legal doctrine or holding and is found NOWHERE in the U.S. Constitution. It was nothing more than a Revolutionary War slogan. So get your facts straight before sounding so ignorant.

Which is it taxation without representation? Or no representation without taxation? You have said both.

I don't think any of the whammer jammers are smart enough to see they were getting a fourth rate education from manning's CCSD for years.

It looks like mr jammer and the kirtland elders are trying to revive no representation without taxation, that the state sent to the trash heap of past racism years ago. All while likely dressing it up in patriotism and religion. Just like the "greenhouse" meetings, last year.

It's not rocket science. It's simple...even you can understand...open the voting up to all districts...even those who don't and never have paid property taxes. Let them vote on a bond issue to raise property taxes on the property owners. Although they live outside the confines of the tax paying property owners of the Kirtland proper county. It'll pass every time. And has. My argument? If you're allowed to voted on an issue, and, have a 'so to speak' bull in the fight, sobiet. Vote away. If not, then you should not be allowed to raise my property taxes if you don't pay them yourself. Simple. Give me a break. I have no issue with you. What I have an issue with is voters who do not pay the taxes they are allowed to vote on. Period. As I said before, it's not rocket science. It's common sense. Give me a break. You sir? You obviously do not live or own property in the county where your voice is heard. But perhaps you are...one of the few who are allowed to vote to raise my taxes without paying a dime out of your pocket. Carry on sir. This too will end. Taxation without representation. It's our constitutional right. Those who do NOT contribute should not be allowed to vote to raise taxes on those that do. Period. Argue with that. But then again, hold your hand out..it's customary. Get a job, buy property, pay taxes....now, that's the AMERICAN way.

So what you are saying is only those who own property, are able to vote on these issues, that affect something as basic as a childs education? What about the parents?

How would they make it equal between someone, or a corporation who owns millions of dollars worth of property, versus someone who lives in a 80's vintage doublewide parked next to Kirtlands sewer lagoon? If you happen to be renting a home you are out of luck.

Mr. Jammer your "american Way" is not very American. So un-American in fact your position brought a needed civil rights change in 1975 in Prince v. Board of education, where the state supreme court struck down as unconstitutional Article 9 Section 11 of the New Mexico State Constitution.

Maybe you, or your family were some of the backwards ignorant predjuiced people who were part of the orignal lawsuit, that brought a case with the very same challenge that you keep spouting off.

I thought it was especially poiniant that Secretery Skandera in her decision brief, pointed out that the Price case involved San Juan County Voters such as you whom brought a case.alleging "illegial" votes in a CCSD bond election.

The State saw this for what it is and was. Mr Chris Manning can spout off on all the small technicalities of what he thinks is law but the main point is that the PED, and the State saw what was going on here, and made their decision. Get use to it and live with it. If not move to another place, it is very simple.

I do have a job, an education, and a home. I earned it it wasn't given to me by my parents, or grandparents like the majority of those "Proptery tax paying citizens" in Kirtland, that are disagreeing with this did.

It seems we have alot of imposters choosing to opine under my illustrious banner as of late. Some doing a better job than others...

To answer our Mongol friend about our position on the Representation Without Taxation/No taxation without representation. Yes that is what we believe. In this case those Indians on the other side of the river get to vote and increse our taxes and determine how our taxes are spent. We fought this years ago in 1975, and unfortunately lost... I wish we could go back further in time again. Anyway this is something my family, and our close neighbors, church members, and friends in kirtland believe in.... At every one of the Manning greenhouse meetings for the blessed orgnization Children First last year we disscussed this issue, as one of the pivotal issues why we should split the school district.

A citizen is only someone who votes and is a taxpayer period.....

Ha, funny funny
Either Chris Manning was drunk last night, and is having some free associative thoughts. Or someone else just happens to be in the Phoenix area having some fun.
Either way he is still is a narcissistic idiot like his dad.

Randy Manning is nothing more than a glorified hairdresser and beauty school drop out. His latest stunt shows that he's a big time gossip queen and has PMS issues. Take some Midol Mandy Randy

Randy Manning a huge embarrassment to Kirltand and needs to resign. Based on the latest story to come out, Manning is nothing more than a major drama and gossip queen. Manning's church needs to excommunicate him for being an embarrassment, a liar, and corrupt closeted homosexual.
