This is actually a good policy but it has to be done right which apparently it was not here. Requiring a student to earn a grade is the point that was lost here. Expecting students to do the work is how this policy has been done in other districts such as the district where the policy was implemented. Does anyone get graded in the real world? Does any boss accept 0's? No. Neither should teachers but they continue to dole out 0's and students continue to expect a 0 and accept it rather than do the work. The right way to do this is to implement the policy and lock the doors until the student completes the assignment--figuratively speaking of course. It is not letting the student slide or get away with not doing any work. There really is a point to this policy that appears to be loss to CCSD, Skandera (let me remind you that she is NOT an educator) and the typical racist-baiters prevalent in NW NM.

Hmmm. Former SHS principal, now at FHS doing the same thing? It sounds like this idea came from him or his staff while at SHS.
The policy could force TEACHERS DO THEIR JOBS! What an idea!!!

Sadly you can't fix stupid.

You obviously have a huge problem with reading comprehension, despite your flowery rhetoric. Maybe you could tell us what level of education you achieved? Quite honestly I would be surprised if it was even an associates degree. Likely a GED.

Let me make this simple for you, by saying you joined the conversation, it basically says you started to opine. Nothing more, it did not infer what side of the conversation you were on.

Secondly if you could actually read you would have seen my opposition to the no zero policy. Expressed multiple times.

I don't care what your opinion is...what I care about is your reference to a certain moniker and their opinion. Period. You 'opine' based on your bias to a certain 'moniker'. Now, my point is that you're answering several hijacked monikers. What happens in that instance is this...your passion is lost on a multitude. Your anger toward the original is lost, because the original isn't there. My point? Your anger is toward several...your focus is not really there. It's spread out within those who make fun of you...argue with you, tease you and draw you out...pathetic really...
Continue, but know, it's not always me. My positions will be obvious to those who've followed me from day one...maybe not obvious to you. That's a risk you'll take. Carry on.

New info shows that Randy Manning's secret gay lover in CCSD is the NEA hack Dave Fierke..... Who has Ewa Krackpot as his phaghag. Explains why Randy Manning was strong armed by Hoskie Benally and the NEA goon squad to oppose Levinskis contract. Why else would Mandy Manning take Hoskie and the NEAs side???

So, because his/her moniker has 'principal' in it you assume they know what they are talking about? Now, back to the reality of what the CCSD educators face daily. Student absence...student attendance....student participation in class...students who shut down during tests...students who refuse to turn in assignments. Students who bring down the 'average' student scores because of (sometimes beyond their control) jumping from school to school, district to district. Putting them further and further behind. Now, those are the students who need a counselor, not a 'break'. You earn your gpa. By attending school regularly, turning in assignments and performing well on tests because you studied. Read the material, know the material. Period. To allow a 'free pass' for those who do not perform is cruel to those that do. Bolster the statistics, that's the only goal here. Stack the deck so to speak. Who's that going to benefit? The budget? Yes. The student whose been slighted in his or her earned accomplishment? No. It's politics. It's all about the money. Not the child.

Now you see the problem that Kirtland had that is why we want our own school district.... and to make sure that someone from kirtland who worked hard and got an education could come back and teach in the school district that educated them.

Bless your heart...your opinion is just that, an opinion. Do you have moniker suckers? My opinion? It is pretty well known. I abhore taxation without representation. That sits wrong in my craw...I abhore voters who are allowed to vote who have nothing at stake and are allowed to raise my property taxes. Where and when does this bring a 'fight' to light? 1776...quack, quack...'the village idiod'. Your words....you support taxation without representation. Sad...you obviously do not live in the CCSD school district. If you do? You obviously do not pay any property taxes. Period. Renter? Deny it. Deny that you are a propety tax paying citizen in the CCSD school district proper. You sir/madame are a liberal when it comes to other's money. Put your money where your mouth is. I do. Over and over and over again. You? opine away, slam me and the other property tax paying citizens who pay higher taxes than any other area in our county. Why? Why? Are we not already paying property taxes through the roof? For a district completely out of control? Multitudes of families moving OUT OF THE DISTRICT? Which they must do to justify their children attending Farmington schools. What's left? Property owners who pay for reservation children attending public schools. Is there no way we'll ever come to any agreement? Not until the reservation contributes their share. Anti-up so to speak. Vote to raise my property taxes and do nothing to contribute? Bond issue after bond issue...cut to the chase sir/madame....it's not sustainable...there is an end to how much money the property tax paying citizens are willing to contribute. There will come a point in time, when those who do not contribute will be held accountable. It'll happen...in our lifetime. In our children's lifetime. Mark my words.

You're pathetic...what is the basic point here? Whether or not an individual is gay??? You sorry piece of work. What is at stake here is those citizens who PAY those taxes.....who are the backbone of the district. You, choose to convict Mr. Manning when you replace him with Mr. Tso? An alleged child molester? Carry on. And while you're at it....re-elect the corrupt individuals who control your chapter houses....good luck with that...want change? Tear down the 9 million dollar housing district and replace it with another 9 million dollar disaster. Carry on....you obviously have a heads up when it comes to common sense...pay property taxes?

So you abhore indians? Don't they have their future of their children at stake as well? Your attempted parallel is funny, sadly enough the same arguements are being used by thinly veiled hate groups. Depriving a US citizen of their rights because of their race, or socioeconomic position isnt the american way, it also isnt very christian. Yes you quack like a racist, duck. In my experience people like you are social misfits, and are compensating for their past failures.

Per mill rate, my home in SJC is actually pretty low. It is in line with the rest of the county. CCSD has lived large due to Indian money.

Yes people are moving out of Kirtland because the leadership failed. If you truly are a reflection of the community as a whole the quicker people abandon it the better. the local LDS leadership failed big time on this issue. Some neighbors.

If you don't like the arrangement here move, no one is stopping you. Maybe CCSD does need to triple the bond issues so you can really complain.

You completely loose the point. The point? Do a little research. I refuse to set it out for u. If you are that ignorant...you get what you deserve. Crybaby tax rant...who? What? You ignorant non-paying property tax paying citizen. Move? From my inheritance? My property? You've got to be kidding? So, what you're saying is this...according to our current laws, the non-paying citizens of our county can and do vote to raise my property taxes to support when and whatever they choose. They, do not 'pay' those taxes, they are allowed however to choose to raise my property taxes. Because those that came before us 'violated' their rights? What! I'm accountable for my great-great-great-great grandfather's actions? And who is accountable for the Tribes accountability? Let's sink another 9 million dollars into an already defunct neighborhood. Sub....where's your justification in that little subsidy.

No stupid, Jammer. The point is you see navajos as non citizens, period, unfortunately your dillusioned theories is shared by Mormon Kirtland.

The law clearly states that a citizen can vote in any election where the reside within the boundaries and is registered. You have clearly made this a issue of racism with your comments. Just because you claim you didn't violate their rights in the past does not give you right to do it now.

Show me ONE location In the US, where only the proptery owners are allowed to vote on a bond issue.
