That area is perfect for a landfill. If the commissioners had any *cents* they'd charge Tennesseans to dump there also. The county might actually make money instead of putting the burden on taxpayers.

The issue is not placing an issue in Alcorn County. It's the actual placement within the Wenasoga community. It's very inconvenient in relation to the majority of the county's population, the roads are dangerous, especially with the added traffic, and it's being put next to homes and an active cemetery. About a half-mile to a mile west of the VFW club. If you go to http://www.wenasoga.com , you can see the proposed spot on a map.

My ex husband lives out there.I couldn't think of a better place for it...lol!!!

Seriously though that is a bad narrow curving road for a lot of traffic.
