Makes perfect sense to me. Wish
they were all like that. The only problem is making a left out of McDonald's.

It seems like when people get off the highway and then look left and when they don't see anyone coming, they pull out and then here comes the traffic from the other side of the bridge, already seen a close call there!! I thought Fredericktowns round about was crazy, but this bridge is a frickin joke!! I've been a lot of places and this is the first time I've seen anything like this mess!!

It's a great design and it fixed a lot. If you don't like it then you haven't set for 15 mins waiting to make a turn to farmington from southbound off ramp. If people get off there fu--ing cell phone, get there nose out of the a book and pay attention to what they are doing there would be no problems and no close calls.

Whew!!! A great design??? Lol, I'm not gonna argue with ya, time will tell if its a "great design" as you say. Already one accident there, we'll see how the accidents tally and then I'll come back to this thread and say you are correct or crazy!! Oh, and if they convert it back to a conventional bridge that means it WASN'T a great idea!!

I think it is a great idea also. The only problem is no one has ever seen anything like this. So their will always be accidents until their are more around Missouri.

I have been passing trough this bridge for several years going to worki and going home from work. I have never had to wait as long as I do now to get to and from work. I think it's a horrible set up. I work off of 221 and have been blocked in the parking lot due to the traffic so backed up. Also been blocked on the other side of the road on knights dr. Due to backed up traffic. I have has to leave 15 min earlier now just to be on Time.

THE KEY!! That's a great observation, "there will always be accidents until there are more of them"??? Dear god please tell me you don't drive!! With your mentality of there's gonna be more accidents until there are more of these nightmares is absurd!! We should be building safer roads that you don't have to get used to!!

haha! Really! Wow! Actually, I do drive, never gotten a ticket or been in an accident (knock on wood). People were not used to the roundabouts. Now, that their are more, their are not as many complaints. It makes total since if you would think about it. New people are going to come to town and not have ever used one of these. Now, if their were more around, people would be used to it.

If you consider a two lane road, "a maze" I feel for how far the dumbing down of America has progressed.

These intersections are not uncommon worldwide, and other countries report that they have fewer accidents than at "traditional" intersections.

I guess it's just one more thing in the world, we can fail at, education, medicine, science, etc. etc. etc. Now we can add, the most accidents per capita, out of all the major industrialized nations.

Actually it's a four lane road!! And in Europe you drive on the opposite side of the road all the time. I just have a problem when you drive on one side of the road until you get to that lovely bridge and then you switch to European style of driving!! Lol, just my opinion it's not safer than a normal bridge!!

I apologize, your right, it is four lane, now I see exactly why everyone is confused. If people would get off their phones, do their makeup at home, and not worry about stuffing their faces as soon as they leave the drive through, our road would be abundantly safer.

If people can't figure out one painfully obvious intersection, they should probably consider mass transit, save us all the extra risk of having them on the road.
