My ex-husband was pulled out of deployment with the us army for a decree of dissolution of marriage and to form a parenting plan dated May 20, 2009. The arrangement was made for each party to share joint legal and physical custody of our son. Father shall have custody of child from April 20 - July 24 and October 20 - Jan 19 of each year. Mother shall have custody of child from Jan 20 - April 19 and July 25 - April 19 of each year. While any time the Father is deployed over seas, fathers' parents shall have custody of child every Friday from 6:00 p.m. to Sunday at 6:00 p.m. during each of fathers custody periods. On Aug 16, 2010 a modification was made for Isaac to get 51 percent custody so the army would help with daycare cost and I agreed. I have done nothing but work with my ex since day one of court. I agreed mostly because I knew he would be deployed and wouldn't move our son across the country New York and when we got divorced he cut me off from all the money and I feared of losing my son if I didn't agree. I do not receive child support and I have had our son with me for the majority of his life. My ex took our son for one 3 month period then a second time for a month and a half. His third opportunity to take him he instead remarried and didn't take his son. I have tried Legal Aid and they couldn't do much to help me out. I thought all them moving our son around was over until my ex extended his contract with the army and is now done with deployment but must live in NY until August. He is again trying to move our son to NY with him and there isn't much I can do to stop him. I am wanting to modify our agreement and stop him from taking our son by April 19th. It does state that our son must attend school in Missouri but he is to young to start pre-school. I am wanting to start home schooling him but Im not sure if that is enough to keep him here with me. I have been very fair with my ex but all i want is what is in the best interest for my son and surely that cannot be moving him across the country when his father feels like taking him...not to mention he will be moving to Farmington MO this year in August when he is discharged so it would be better to wait and see him here. I do not have the amount of money some are asking for a consultation fee or the cost to represent me, but I would have no problem with a payment arrangement, my credit history is great and i have paid off loans before. Please let me know if you know of anything or anyone that can help. thank you

Your going to lose just for the simple fact that you gave him 51 percent custody you handed that 1 percent over willingly

Most local law firms have FREE consultation fees for Modifications. Plus I'm sure that if you have enough time to home school you have enough time to get out and find a full time job to pay for your legal fees instead of trying to rely on Legal Aid. Lawyers that accept Legal Aid contracts are few and far between because they can only bill a certain amount and if their client fails to maintatin contact with their attorney they might not even get paid at all!!!

Kathleen Aubuchon she is great price depends on if it's contested or not contested is more but she knows her stuff she checks facts & laws before she even advises you what your options are. I got my kiddo back it cost 1800$ at first it was contempted but more often than not she gets them to settle out of court.

This must be a joke, Blake is absolutely terrible. We are going to Kathleen to modify our current custody order because Blake did absolutely NOTHING for my husband and stepdaughter when going against her neglectful mother.

I have to say that I agree with What!!!!!!! That Dudley guy is nothing but a drunk. Everyone that is around him can smell the liquor on him. He will drink your money away and then make a deal with the other attorney and then lie like he tried to do something to help you. That happened to one of my best friends. For your money and future protection I hope you choose wisely!

Agree with What!! and Honest AB on this one....you better just run not walk away from that loser. I hear he is getting his license to be a lawyer taken away for showing up at court and driving drunk everyday!

Yes, Blake is definitely a bar rat. His secretary will do what little work is necessary to get you to sign a contract. At that point you're screwed.
Kathleen is a go getter. She is busy because she is good, so a lot of people have an issue with her not calling back fast enough for their liking.
She is honest and real and will hopefully get us what we want and what is best for my stepdaughter!
