Farmington could use another 3 or 4 bars. as if theres not already very few choices, we have scuzzins, scum runners, styx, and that's it as far as actual bars go. People get bord, real quick.

I went there a couple weekends ago. My first time. So trashy...i didnt get carded when i ordered my drink. And i went in to use the bathroom and WOW!!!! I have never seen such filth!! The whole floor was sopping wet. Every toilet was clogged with shit. Worst experience of my life.

I dont think the bar is a good place to go, security must be bad. my son came home from leave awhile back, and was talking to a girl there that i think he knew from school, and the next thing happened some creep grabbed him around his throat, he got loose, and would not fight due to fact he is a high rank in the military, and didnt want a strike against him. Its good his step father was not with him. The guy would have been in the ICU. He was simply out trying to meet up with old friends. my son could have really hurt the man, he teaches self defence in the military to younger soldiers. Just sayin, not proud that that was aloud to happen. Wild river was pretty much on top of shit like that when it was open.

Well, that was a LONG time ago and he can try, but I doubt he will be successful. Wild river was SUPER safe, in my recollection someone got shot and two were stabbed there... I'd feel real safe there. Oh and the owner brined the place down. That's a #1 in my book for sure!!

AsI read trough the many comments, some with fact, while others are supposition, are these individuals the only one's possibly aware of this situation? Do our City and County Fathers and yes our Law Enforement Officials not know of these varied allegations? Is it necessary that a tragedy occur before proper action is taken? How many lives are affected each night this establisment does business as usual? Has the time not arisen in which "Fact is separated from Fiction"?

You guys have no clue what you are talking about. Rum Runners is a fun place and I have watched security escort alot of drunk dumbasses out. They can't help that people get drunk and stupid. It happens at every bar. Get over it and if you don't like it, don't go there.. That simple.
