As the daily journal says somebody is looking into buying it & putting something in but they didn't give a name of what's going in as of now .

Chip Peterson and Matt Burgess are partnered to put a retailer in that location. Some of the building tho, not all of it, the rest will be divided for other businesses. That's what the daily journal announced if I'm not mistaken.

Yes Curious: In the Daily Journal A major company is willing to locate their biz in the empty Value Bldg, local developers are seeking for the city to start assisting in the effort since this
company will take up most of the space and a couple other companies
will allso lease space in the empty Valu Bldg if the city approves
the measure.

It would be great for Farmington to have these companies move in
the Value vacant bldg because that means jobs and tax revenue for the city of Farmington, allso the other local businesses will benefit as many of these employee's when they come can get lunch
at the many local restaurants by them like Jack In The Box ,
The Buffet right across the street from Motel 8 on Valley Creek Dr.
There is an Italian Pasta Restaturant there but I don't remember the name of it just accross the street from the Vacant Value City
Bldg.

Some times I lodge in Farmington and eat at all these places and the food is good and the convience of just walking across from
Motel 8 or the Holiday Inn and dinning and not having to cook it's
really cool one time I lodges for 6-9 months in Farmington. So I
pray they do get this sight leased it will benefits everyone even me.( Yeah )!

It is Kohls. I know someone who works at the bank they are trying to get the loan through. They are in the final stages of the deal.

Just got off the phone with my contacts in Farmington Missouri , they are thrilled if the
new biz will be Kohls and one's wife works only a block or so from the vacant Value City Bldg.

Kohls is better , Target is way to large to put in the old Value City Bldg. plus Walmart would run Target out of town by dropping prices on their simular products that Target would try to sale in
the Farmington / SFC Area.

target can hold its own against walmart. they have different merchandise and the quality is a whole lot better. Between the two, I would rather shop at target.

Sorry-NO Target! As you may recall, Target refused to let the Veterans sell their poppies in front of the Target stores-I find that intolerable!
I no longer shop at Target.

Target has a no solicitation policy, it's not just the veterans, they don't allow anyone to sell or hand out anything in front of their store.

I wished walmart had the same policy. get tired of being harassed going in then again when leaving. Used to be able to bypass them at the garden center at the store where I live but some groups caught on to that trick.

I too think target is a better store. The ones I have been to seems so clean and organized. They actually have cashiers at most of the registers so you can get out so much faster.

I heard the Latino's whom worked at the Poplar Bluff Walmart had a pretty good trick going to ?
putting stolen store items in the trash bin out
back behind the PB Walmart and then dressing like
garbage collectors and getting the items out of the
trash and selling them for 33% to 50% off the store
retail price. I was offered a new Dell Laptop for
350.00 , I gave some thought to it and then declined the offer I hear this group got caught and
all of them was fired.

It's now in the Farmington Press News Paper , Cain't wait till it's
complete and I can travel up and lodge at the Holiday Inn and walk
over and browse and shop in the Kohls Dept Store once it's Open.

This is All So Very Kool.( May The Glory Be To The Most High God).
