Anyone know anything about the motorcycle crash off the overpass at the 67same junction today?

He was driving ridiculously fast, regardless of what the highway patrol says. He zoomed through traffic to get onto the overpass. They said he was standing to stretch his legs, the other witnesses didn't see that - they also didn't say that he slowed down. I didn't actually witness the crash, but I was right off of the highway when it happened and the people outside witnessed it first hand. Death is always a sad ordeal, but his actions lead to it. He was driving like a mad man.

Yes he was driving very fast as he entered the overpass. I didn't see him wreck he blew past me and next thing I seen was him and the bike fall from the overpass.

His name wasn't Josh. That's all I'll say. This is a terrible event and I hope that none of you ever have to deal with this. EVER.

My family has had to deal with this actually. I'm very sorry for your loss. As he flew by us, his family was my first thought. I remember getting that call that there had been an accident, it was the most awful experience and I would never wish that on anyone. As soon as I saw the ambulance show up, then the helicopter - and the chopper not take off, my heart was in pieces knowing that someone was going to get the same call that we got. I am extremely sorry for your loss, but what I witnessed was recipe for an accident.

Family friend, no one has said anything that's not being reported in the paper. Death is a terrible ordeal in any circumstance...and if you read witness' next post, you will see that they too have been through something similar. I have this family in my thoughts and prayers, because they are the ones suffering from this man's negligence.

I am by no means trying to put it in anyones face what happened with the comment about his driving. The newspaper gave far more detail than a comment on topix. I am more sorry than you know for your loss. It's never easy to handle loss of a loved one. Yes, kids will be kids. And I'm by no means perfect, neither will my children be. It's an accident, they happen every day. I hate that the family and friends are having to deal with the tragedy. And I hate that crotch rockets get people into these situations. But the results of the accidents might keep someone else from playing on their bikes in dangerous situations. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

my friend was behind him when it happened, as he was going really fast, and yes it's horrible for the family, but that doesn't only put him in danger it puts other people too.
