Oh, and the state didn't pay for my daycare. I have a good job and have never had help with anything like that. Good one though.

Regardless why talk trash about her? If there is a problem with her take it up with her. Im sure she would gladly talk to you about it. She is an understanding person and we are out of high school just let it go and grow up or call her on it.

Don't need to talk to her again. Already did and it was a waste of time. And I believe someone ask for an opinion on daycares and thats mine. I don't think I'm being out of line when I had to take a day off of work to go to a court date that was completly bogus. Oh well, what goes around comes around.

i'm sorry, but micheal's story has nothing to do with how well we do or do not take care of your children. it's absolutly pathetic and heartbreaking for this to be thrown in michelle's face as a way to try and ruin her business.

I worked here quite a while ago. I ended up quitting a few months after I was hired. They didn't have the kids best interests in mind and would send them outside in the heat for hours at a time. When a child would ask to get a drink, we were told to tell them no. After finding out about all of the other problems they had, I decided I'd rather not be mixed up in that and quit.
1.) Every time I go there to pick up my kid, there is almost always one child at the drinking fountain getting some water. So, your full of shit on the getting a drink comment.

2.) The kids are also running in and out from the playground constantly, so your trapped out in the heat comment is also more bullshit.

You said that you worked there quite a while ago...right there is your problem. You're working off old information. How about you stop talking about stuff that you apparently have no clue about.

Wow you just have to love small town gossip. My oldest goes here after school and during the summer. I know Kristy personally and she does a lot for her business. The lady who ran it before did not do so well in this area so I think that some people are getting the old owner's ways mixed up with the new owner.
As far as The Classroom is concerned i would not let that owner watch my dog. She does not know the first thing about how to handle the toddler phase. She is inexperienced and should not be allowed to have a licensed facility. Period.

I take my daughter to Creative Kids, and I have for over a year now. SHE LOVES IT! and all of the teachers are very nice and sweet. My daughter has learned so much there, they are always sending home little crafts that she worked on, and they do all sorts of activities. I would not take my daughter to any other daycare. The owner is sweet and understanding and the teachers are great.

I agree I hated Mother Goose if u have older child its great but not babys the teachers are rude and do what they want not what the parents ask! The classroom use to be good but all these daycares have kids being teachers! The owner of mother goose is so rude and the owner of the classroom is a sweetheart she just needs to get the snobs out of her daycare and hire ppl who care for kids! The classroom is alot cleaner but everyone likes different things and u cant make everyone happy but when the owner is nice and does everything to make u happy then it makes the small things better!

I absolutely love Creative Kids Learning Center. My son has been going there for a few months and I have had no complaints out of him and I have seen nothing out of the ordinary. If they were concerned about doing something wrong, they would not give out their internet address where the parents can check on their kids real time 24/7. As far as Kids First Daycare, I worked there and my kids went there and I love them as well. Michelle, the owner, is a very good person and goes out of her way for the families that come there. The only reason I do not use that daycare now is because they close at 6:00 and Creative Kids is open 24/7 which is very helpful for parents who work evenings. As far as the death of Michelle's son Michael, that has nothing to do with how she operates her day care!!!!!!!! It takes a sick, twisted person to bring up something so tragic! No one knows what happened with Michael's situation except for those that were involved so leave it alone and leve the family to mourn in peace. I only hope that for those of you who are speaking ill of him that nothing happens to your family because karma does exist. I love the Johnson family and would recommend that daycare to anyone.
Hope this helps

I worked at CK for a little while. I saw ALOT of things I didn't like as a parent myself. The babies weren't properly taken care of, Karen would put five year olds in high chairs, the we cam NEVER worked when I worked there, naptime?? I saw on numerous occasions, teachers laying on top of children and smacking their backs to make them fall asleep. If your child wasn't a favorite or occasionally threw a tantrum, I saw some teacher ignore them. They would tell us employees the rules but they wouldn't do it themselves. Kristy constantly allowed drama between parents and teachers and brought in people who had nothing to do with the situation. I would go by the book and do things right and be told that I had to do things like they wanted BC it worked. I noticed bruises or bumps or bite marks ECT on kids and the teachers before wouldn't tell me what had happened so when the parents came to pick up their children I had to hear that we were horrible BC we didn't watch their kid and it was all because they didn't wanna file an accident form. I saw teachers who would write down when the babies were changed but hadn't even checked them or changed them. They would use other kids diapers and clothes and tell the parents they needed to bring in more as well as formula. If a baby cried, they'd put a bottle in its mouth. This was last year so it hasn't gotten any better. I am glad to be gone. I was only there BC I needed a job. I was glad to be something positive for those kids while i was there as well bc alot of them were there more than at home.

My daughter went there. She has a peanut allergy. One day for a snack they gave snickers bars! What kind of daycare gives candy for a snack and to children with food allergies. Needless to say they called me wanting to know what to do. Duh! Take her to the ER! My 6 year old was admitted to the hospital and quickly taken out of Creative Kids! Never again! Horrible place!

I have had my child in creative kids and at mother goose. What everyone has said about Creative Kids neglecting children and having no structure is absolutely dead on. I, too, came in one day to pick my son up and the new girls who I had never met barely even looked up to say bye as i was walking out with him. I could've been anyone taking him. They also didn't change his diaper like they are supposed to. I counted the diapers I sent every day, and in the ten hrs he was there, they only used two diapers...he was beet red from front to,back under the diaper. Took him home, and never took them back. Also, probably the reason for the high turnover rate, the owners can't keep enough money in the bank to pay the employees. Most places in town won't cash their payroll checks.
As far as Mother Goose goes, the owner Wendy is a total bitch, hardly ever there to see how the children are being treated. She only cares about all the money she brings in. Mealtimes are a joke, bc they feed the kids little to nothing. One if my friends who worked there told me at snack time, they will give the kids two crackers...how is that even enough to make a difference to the stomach. At breakfast, half a banana or half a muffin. Anyway, there's my input on the subject.
