my son used to go there a couple of weeks ago or so..i took him out of there though because he only being 4 months old needed some proper care. the ladies in the baby room did not give him that. the colored woman was alright but the other bigger lady was just down right rude. I did not like her at all. she always had a crapy look on her face like she really hated being there. They were not the compassionate at all with the kids and hardly ever got down on the floor with them for play time. to me it seemed the workers were just there for a paycheck and didnt care about the babies there. there are a few good workers there but most are young, new , and un experienced!!!! I would not take my child back there every again i think the daycare is all about money and thats it...It shows that thats all the owner cares about! You never see her and when she is there she is running around like a chicken with her head cut off. Her hand doesnt even know what her foot is doing. She seems not to even care or really know what is even going on there.

Well i do have to agree with the post above. I am still taking my kids there but not by choice. I cant find any openings anywhere esle. I too have a baby in the baby room. I think the colored woman is alright but i have to deffinatly agree about karen the bigger woman. She seems to not even care. I watch the web cam from my office on a daily basis. I dont like alot of things i see from alot of the workers. I see alot of babies going into walkers and teachers doing paper work or talking or constant cleaning and picking up toys..but no interaction with the babys. there is a few there like a girl with short blonde hair i see sometimes and she is good. I see her talking and playing with the babies. I just dont feel in my gut that this day care is all that and a bag of chips. Sure they put alot of money in it and have alot of nice fancy things like the web cam thing for example but they just seem not to care about the children...not all of the workers are that way but most...i also have to agree about alot of new young workers... it seems the past few weeks i come in there are new young girls there...something that didnt set well with me at all was i went to pick up my children and the new girls were there and did not even acknowledge me picking up my child. they didnt even notice...let alone ask me who i was or who i was picking up..they had never seen me before so how did they not know i was a stranger that walked into the daycare center and stole someones child???? Like i said its ok but i am for sure looking around for another daycare. I checked out a few already and on the waiting list....i will say the few that i checked out one has told me that they have had quite a few parents come to them wanting to switch from this daycare..but there just full at the moment!!!! I wish you the best of luck parent897.. and hope u find a better child care for you wee one..if u find a good one let me know too!

Wow a co-worker told me about this thread so I had to come check it out.My daughter goes to this day care and I dont like it much either.she is in the 2 and 3 year old rooms. They don't seem to have any rountine or structure there! One time my little girl wanted to take a stuffed animal home and i tried to get her to put it down and leave it. The owner had told me to take it home that it was old and had been there for a long time. So we took it home like she said. About 3 weeks later I recived a note which i assume all parents did in that class. It was a note written from a parent of this lost stuffed animal. It turns out it had a very sentimental value to the child and mother. I would have been very upset if i was that child and parent also. I felt bad because i took a toy from a child that meant alot to and that the daycare woman told me we could have it not knowing it belonged to a child there at her daycare!

I think this is very interesting....because I AM THE MOTHER OF THE CHILD that mistakenly took the stuffed animal home!
I have nothing bad to say about Creative kids daycare, and IF I DID...I would not post it here, I would go to the owner. If I was still UNHAPPY...I would go elsewhere! There are other daycares with openings in town. But, this daycare offers extended hours, and a nice facility.
I cannot believe this EXACT scenario was posted like it was written by me! All of those posts sound very similar though..hmmm...
We have had our children in other daycares, and this is the best one we have found. No one is perfect, and you cant make everyone happy...but if I thought my child was being NEGLECTED...I would definately FIND other alternatives!

I had my youngest children in this daycare a few years back but only for a few weeks, I absolutely hated it. I think the owner is rude and the facility could be nicer. They have a high turnover rate which is always a red flag in my book. The baby room seemed the worst for me as well, not sure if it is just the age of our babies during this time, or if we assume that our older children can communicate with us, so we tend to worry less.
Not recommended.

I also wanted to let everyone know that they do have a summer program at Creative Kids and they take them to the pool where it only cost .75 and they are telling the parents that it's $2.00 and to go skating is only $2.00 and they charge the parents $3.50 so please tell me where the EXTRA MONEY is going. Being a parent is a hard enough job but with daycares like this they make it even harder.I have heard so many horror stories about this daycare, suck as they have law suits on them for leaving children out in the heat and they get third degree burns, I have heard of children walking out the front door and teachers not knowing where they went, they have a huge turn over in teachers .... So please think about this before you enroll your child in a daycare like this.

All three of my kids go there and love it. The owner is nice and caring and has taken very good care of my children. As far as the money for summer fun do you think gas, insurance, vans, ware and tear on the vans, is free? I can't comment about how it was before the new owner I was at the Bonne Terre location. I think both the bonne terre and farmington locations are great! If your looking for good child care I would come here first.

I worked here quite a while ago. I ended up quitting a few months after I was hired. They didn't have the kids best interests in mind and would send them outside in the heat for hours at a time. When a child would ask to get a drink, we were told to tell them no. After finding out about all of the other problems they had, I decided I'd rather not be mixed up in that and quit.
Additionally, I know someone that worked there last summer. She got the flu about 2 weeks after starting. She called out of work the first day and said she wasn't feeling well. She didn't know it was the flu at the time. The next day she was feeling worse, made a doctor's appointment, and then called the daycare to let them know she was going to the doctor because she thought it was more than just a little cold. They told her that they needed someone more reliable and her services were no longer needed. Would they have liked her to come into work instead and get all of the kids sick?

Yes I have thought about the ware and tear and ins on the vans but that is why you pay them a weekley rate and it is strange that no other daycare makes you pay extra

Actually Crappy Mother Goose charges a large Insurance fee once a year. Bunch of Bologna. I hate that place and do not recommend it to anyone.

Yep, and they're expensive as hell. I wish they had cheaper day cares that are open on sundays and saturdays.
