Number one, it isn't a tax based fire department. It is an association that the residents of st. Francois and ste. Genevieve counties within the boundaries of wcfd borders, are sent an annual fire tag that they have the option to pay. Number two, they are completely capable of handling all aspects of emergency calls, fire or otherwise. As far as them running you off the road, ou are to yield to them. That is why all emergency response apparatus are equipped with flashing lights and sirens. Maybe you missed that part in your drivers manual but those flashing lights and wailing sirens mean YOU YIELD TO THEM! If you actually had been or ever will be "ran off the road" by any wolf creek personnel please feel free to contact the chief officers about this but remember, if in any case you do not yield to an emergency response vehicle you are in the wrong.

In responce to the comment about yielding to lights and siren.if it is a apparatus yes your are required to yield but a personal vehicle you are asking for the right of way.read the state statute.
