This is undoubtedly one of the best resteraunts in this small town. I have tried most every resteraunt and this one is the best. Food is excellent and the service cannot be beat. These people have it figured out and I see them being in business for a long time.

has anyone had problems with the female owner undercooking the garlic knots and pizza dough and not have a good attitude for running a restruant? the 3 times I have been there the bread products were so undercooked and Robin was not all that friendly
Yes she is an uneducated ignorant women's vagina! who owes money all over town. The food use to be sooo good! But the bad taste in my mouth from when I hear that women talk and her husband NOT knocking the female dog right outta her face makes me ill! Still waiting to see the day come when they go broke and lose everything due to her poor poor POOR business ethic. Get a clue bitch u had a good thing! Then it went to your head! You can spit shine a turd but it's still a turd! Stop acting like your food is top notch. It's good for the price if that. Robin acts like a teenage girl with a new toy. I'm pissed at them because they ruined one of my favorite places to eat and have drinks with my family and friends. Way to go you have managed to mess up a food legend to me and many others in this town. And I'm sure that marriage is going just as well. Just assuming. Just being an ass! Lol

The pizza was really doughy. You couldn't even pick it up off the pan without it falling apart. That was when they first opened though so maybe it got better. The workers were nice though.

I don't know about the food but they have gotten their panties in a bunch over a band unloading gear to play next door at Bauhaus Kaffee. Not sure of the details, I came up after the ordeal, but the attitude displed by the owner? was in line with other peoples bad experiences in posts on here.

I am a regular customer and a small business owner myself. Robyn and Greg have done wonderful job trying to clean up the mess left behind by Bob. As all small business owner know, the first year is really hard, and plenty of us owe money. Also, the age group that you have to pick from for employees don't really want to work.
I have never known Greg or Robyn to be anything but nice, hardworking people, who are just going through a rough period.
As for whoever wrote this quote... it sounds like envy... or maybe you have a crush on the husband....I am just saying....LOL

I am very happy to have heard that greg and Robyn are having to sell the place. Robyn is a P.O.S of a business owner and mouthy little tramp. Greg seemed alright until you realize he has no balls and knowingly lets Robyn walk all over him. I try to never wish bad onto other but these two deserve every bad thing coming their way which includes but not limited to the loss of their home. That being said I hope they take what they learned from McPhails and do better in their next endevour.

Not really envy. I would love to have my own business of some kind one day. It's been a dream of mine for a while to be my own boss lol. when I'm finished with my education in business that will be my driving force. Most normal people with good common sense can run any type of business. These two folks have not the first clue about running a business, keeping good clientel, repeat customers or being curtious and thankful for the regular customers. These people come off as very very greedy and they seem like they are owed instant success around here. A business can be successful in this area in less than a year and come outta that first year in the black. Their poor attitudes and lack of common knowledge on how you should handle customers, workers and business deals WILL destroy them. As far as "a crush" ? Lol good lookin man but I just hate most uneducated women. But that also applies to most of the population in these here parts lol

<quoted text>Look in the dictionary. Libel also refers to slander. You know people on this post can say whatever is on their mind, but they better have facts to prove it. I think McPhali's is a great restaurant because I OWN IT!!
I love that you say you know what slander is and then you go and use the same registered name to talk about a lady named Christy Hale. You are a loser. I hope your business goes straight into the ground. That is not how professionals conduct themselves. Theses people said nothing but the truth when they said you had no idea how to run a business and when they said you were a rude and mean person. You deserve everything negative that comes from you putting all of this stuff out there on the Internet.

I've been there several times and have had good experiences every time. The food was decent, the owners were nice and even the owners mother was very helpful who helps her daughter out at the restaurant. I would imaging most of these complaints would be unfounded if investigated.

Well mine aren't. It took almost an hour to get two sandwiches and a salad. I ate lunch with a friend who worked at the court house and she was actually almost late getting back to work because of the time it took. I mean it's awesome you had good food and service; I just wasn't that lucky and neither were these people. It just goes to show you that every customer matters.

I must agree with not going back! The first time we tried them, we were the only people in the place. We seated ourselves and the people in the kitchen were jabbering. It took our waitress, the only waitress, 5 minutes to come to our table. Then after ordering and deciding to go outside (of which we informed our waitress), it took 35 minutes to get the pizza which was "so-so" at best. The sauce tasted as if the cook opened up a can of regular tomato sauce, attempted to throw a little italian seasoning in it and call it pizza sauce.

We were left alone outside with our waitress not returning until it was time to leave the bill. That was another 35 minutes.

When the owner asked us if everything was okay, we replied with a "no". We voiced our concerns. There was no, "I'm sorry you feel that way", there was no "Please try us again for one of our other dishes." There was a look of disdain and the reply? "That's not how we make our pizza sauce." Then silence as she took our money and handed back our change.

I always tip the waitress; no matter how terrible they were, so we left a 10% tip instead of our usual 20% for good service.

Then we gave them another shot about two months later. We had another couple with us. They insisted on pizza and we agreed thinking, perhaps they did have a bad day...but nearly an identical experience took place. The food was "eh", the service was lousy and the owner didn't have her "restaurant owner" game face on when we told her what we thought of the taste and quality of the food.

We don't go into places looking for a free meal. No matter how terrible the food or service may be, we always pay. Even when a manager offers to pick up the tab, we insist upon paying, but we do not patronize their business again and that word of mouth that "not going back" spoke of; we put it into play.

A good business owner takes constructive criticism and turns it into a profit.

P.S.- Just a little interesting side note...before McPhali's opened, we were walking by and the new owners were painting so we stopped and talked for a few minutes. The owner told us that Bob was going to be cooking for them. We asked if they were going to keep the name as Bob-A-Rino's and she said, no, but they were not telling Bob that until after he started working for them. He was supposed to help them to set up their kitchen and show them the ropes. In other words, what I got from that was that they wanted his recipe.

Matters not, they didn't follow his recipe.

Mcphali's is officially CLOSED!!! suck on that Robyn! U were successful in ruining everything in ur life trying to be a know it all! They tried to use bobs recipes for a while then decided to act like Gordon ramsey with the shot and it bombed!!! U tried to fix something that wasn't broke! I honestly feel bad for bob! He still owns that building and STILL lives upstairs... I know he still owns it because they planned on renting the place out after they paid bob the money... So as I smile from ear to ear knowing they FAILED and have no one to blame but themselves I wanna say "HA!" couldn't even make it a year! Such a shame that people that out of sync with customer relations can own a business when people like myself would strive to be a success! F*ck them McFAILURES

And what was the connection with tracy Koch from red rooster? Was she working on the side there to pay people what she owes them from their booth rental?
