Also, why is it YOUR business that someone else is taking THEIR child into a place such as Stix?
Because it is MY child too!

That already happened when he allowed my child to get severely injured, putting her in the hospital with many staples and stitches. Yet no one can seem to help! I got on here with a simple question, and got nothing but people telling me I make them sick for caring about this child. it was assumed that I was just some b*tch trying to ruin someone's life. I may be over protective to some, but I. Just want my child safe and taken care of the best way possible. I don't need the people in this post trying to make me out to be someone I'm not without even knowing me or my story

See were getting somewhere now. Being its your child I'm going to stop being a Dick because I can sympathize with you as a father, if he's drinking with your kid wiles hes at the bar then yes by all means I would call but if their just having a nice lunch with your kid then I wouldn't .....sticks and stiens is considered a bar and grill

Stix has amazing food. Speaking from experience we would take my exs little boy there all the time during the day time to eat. Fyi the baby mama tried using that against us in court and got her no where. Cause its considered a bar and grill with the food being served

You can call dfs but no promise on them actually help you they normally obly go after the people that has done nothing wrong but if you r in the middle of a custody case if he is in fact taking your children into a bar thats not a bar and grill or one that says no one under 21 allowed then if you can prove it it will help your matter or even if he is going to a bar n grill if you can prove he is drinking and then driving your children when he leaves it is endangerment and can be punished by law enforcement but the whole thing depends on having proof if u cant prove it without a doubt nothing will be done. If it is posted on door that no1 under 21 allowed you can get the bar introuble for allowing children to be in there witch would make them not let him bring em in anymore so that may help you a little

Usually Bar and grills that say no one under 21 have it included that its after a certain time. IE: since people keep using Stix I will too. No one under 21 after 9 pm. It is a GRILL as well and yes you can take your kids there. I use to like the food from Wild River and would take my child there for lunch. The owner would actually come out and play with him. Most bars in this area are bar and grills and allow children in till at least 7.
Original poster- you can call, it's your right but you better have PROOF. Missouri is a HUGE proof state. Trust me I have been there done that and am still in the middle of a custody battle.

Stix and steins have amazing food! And its well known for how good their food is. It isn't like there going down to rum runners and dancing with their 3 year old kid on their hip while sipping down a bottomless cup! They are are probably in there for the food. And I've seen that kid in there before. He's plenty big enough to realize that he needs to get out of the way if he sees two drunk people getting into it. Or I'm sure the mother would be aware and grab him up and move him from the situation. And not to mention I go to stix quite often to eat and for Friday or Saturday night fun, I'm 25 and have been going since I was 21 and I've seen one fight in those 4 years. Its a pretty mellow place for the most part. And I know that NONE of the bartenders would allow the child to be in there after 6, when it actually gets crowded with people who want to drink more than eat. I personally see nothing wrong with it, and my morals are pretty darn straight. I'll be the first one to stick up for an innocent child, but I see absolutely no harm here... and no DFS wouldn't do anything because its a bar and grill and no one under 21 is in there after 6 pm. No different than apple bees.

In Missouri for DFS to really take action there has to be a verifiable harm or threat of serious and immediate harm done to a child. A lot of people make calls about things that are irresponsible or stupid parenting but not legally abuse or neglect. I don't mean to belittle your concerns however there are far more concerning matters for them to handle than a child eating at an establishment that also serves alcohol. This would mean parents could not take their children to applebees as they too serve liquor. Using DFS to assist with custody disputes is not only a waste of time and resources but also a harm to the children involved when they have to be interviewed and have workers involved in their lives. If it is a true concern then request from the judge that as part if your custody agreement the child is never taken anywhere that alcohol is served. But keep in mind that these days that includes a lot of bowling alleys, movie theaters and restaurants.
isnt it so
