He had to retire because his malpractice insurance was going to drop him, he was also on probation from the Medical Board of Healing Arts and he currently has a million dollar lawsuit against him for knicking a woman's bowel during a hysterectomy. The woman lost part of her bowel and colon. I know this to be 100% correct because I personally know the victim.

I had my first two children at St Johns and loves everything about it I had dr Gasser with my last pregnancy and I hated everything about the experience! I'm not trying to slander him just speaking from my personal experience I was high risk the whole pregnancy was hard on me the delivery was awful he only induced me 2 1/2 weeks after my due date because I threatened to go to St Louis he let me lay in the hospital for 16 1/2 hours with terrible back labor before finally giving me the epidural the nurse checked me and said I was between a 4-5 and when he checked he said I was barely 1 he told me when I was 18 weeks along I was the perfect candidate for a c section I never had any problems with my other two children finally after 18 1/2 hours of labor he decided a c section was best so we agreed due to me being totally exhausted he told me I had a small scare when I was able to get out of bed I discovered I was cut from hip to hip I was totally devastated by the whole experience and really wish I would have went back to St Johns

Everyone is a perfect candidate for a c-section with him. My first baby was large and I had no problems with delivery (with another dr) my second was 2 lbs smaller and he kept talking about c-section everytime. I switched at 35 weeks. And glad I did my second delivery was smooth and short.

I had two c sections, and my scar is perfectly straight. If you are lucky enough to have a doctor with skill, you will have a nice, straight scar. You can barely see mine.
Gasser is a freak, and a pervert. I'm glad he's gone.
thank you! My second c section was done by dr Harris, he straightened it and he cut about 2 inches less than dr gasser AND my second baby was bigger and breech!

I had a different doctor with my first daughter, and decided to go with gasser with my second. At first I was scared with everything I had heard about him, but my c-section was 20 times better then with my first. I had a horrible experience my first c-section and was terrified to have another. Dr.Gasser held my hand prayed with me and made me feel at ease. I'm not saying he hasn't done wrong but I had a very good experience with him!

I only trust Dr. Gasser to care for my and my high-risk pregnancies. He delivered my little brother and both of my children and we have no complaints whatsoever about this Dr. He did everything in his power to take care of my situations and was always good to explain procedures. He was even the one who suggested nursing school for me - which I just completed. He is just a human, but in my eyes and experience he is a great one. I will be missing him and his office staff. Hearing of his departure from is the deciding factor in why my husband and I will not be having any more children. We would have a hard time trusting any other Dr. with my fragile pregnancies. I wish him the best.

I had dr. Gasser with my pregnancy and it was horrible. I was high risk the entire time and he didn't tell me until I almost died exactly a week after my son was born by c section. Its the worst scar ever very thick. Then to top it off dr gasser told the nurses to be prepared for a deformed midget baby. I was very angry when the nurse told me that. Needless to say years later my baby is great not deformed or a midget!

Hope he never practices again.. Stitched someone's ureter that she had to have kidney removed. Ya he may have been a good delivery doctor but he shouldn't have been doing surgeries that he can't pay attention too. This girl will never be same hope he never gets a good night rest.

I had both my babies delivered by him and not once did he suggest C-section. He did everything to avoid them. With my first baby he said it was a possibility only because I was at a 10 and my baby hadn't dropped far enough down. But after 2 hours of pushing and Gasser encouragement, reminding me I wanted a natural birth I had my son.

With my second, I was induced, once again, C-section was not on the table. I had her naturally as well. I had a great experience.

Dr. Gasser delivered my son and my experience was nothing but wonderful. I too had a c-section but only after 24 hours of labor after my water broke on its own and I never progressed past 1 cm. My son never dropped and surgery was my last option, lest I risk infection. As for my scar, they all look awful at first but is now hardly noticeable. If I has wanted more children, I would have definitely gone back to him.

Gasser delivered me and both my children, great job. I will miss him so much. He is not in trouble, he put in his resignation for april 30th and just left early. I don't agree with the failure to send out courtesy letters. He is very sick, possibly dying, and that is why he is done. He is getting older and deserves to spend his remaining life with his family.

You're an idiot. Dr. Snyder didn't commit suicide. He was an excellent doctor an cared alot for his patients. He was abrasive and truthful, sometimes that truth pisses people off--welcome to life.

Dr. Gasser on the other hand was a show off and a fake. He talked up all the best technology, then didn't have the skills required for it to work as intended.

You have the scares? Something frightened you? Or did you mispell something and show your illiteracy? Did you mean scars?

Dr. Gasser is plain amazing. He delivered both of my babies and always gave amazing advice and had never wanted me c section even two weeks late. he says everyone else is too quick to want it. He loves natural and super safe pregnancies if obtainable. He always made me feel safe and was always available and helped when i had any issues or questions. always healed amazing and had amazing super smart babies thanks to his advice and his recommendations. I am so sad to see him go for his FEW of MANY wonderful deliveries or surgeries going bad. No one is perfect but he is one of the best. I know this.
