That really sucks. I really liked their food. :( Guess we will have to wait for El Tap to open up.

It's done and gone, the food wasn't that great anyway.
Why don't you people go next door and try the new Italian place. It's actual Italian, not that Pasta House crap.

Well, the food at Las Margaritas wasn't that good.. And the people were rude. And for the Italian place, No!. It is not good either.. Your sitting in Wicker chairs and the food is terrible. It is not real Italian food.. My husband's family is part Italian and we refuse to eat there every again..

I grew up about 2 hours from the border of mexico in arizona, and I know mexican food pretty well. Las Margaritas was actually pretty darn authentic (with the exception of the random veggies in the rice). There are signs on the windows now saying that they're re-opening. I guess we'll see.

Jesus "Sweetc", you really are negative aren't you? Las Margaritas wasn't that bad and that Italian place is really good.
Sooo, since your husband's family is part Italian that makes you an expert on the food? I'm part Native American, by your thinking my wife should be an expert on hunting the wild buffalo. Lol jeez.
Anyway, like you said don't go to the Italian place ever again. I'm glad because when I'm in there enjoying a good meal, I don't want the nasty attitude you give off ruining my dinner.

Well,"great white buffalo", No i am not negative about everything..Maybe it wasn't to you.. But to me it was not very good.. Everyone is entitled to there own opinion on here.. SO i just stated mine.. If you don't like it or don't agree with that is your opinion.. And NO i don't think I am an expert, never tried to be.. Just simply stated how I felt and what I thought about the food.. Excuse me! I thought this was a free country and we could do that.. I guess my opinion offended someone.. Well, guess what: Get over it!!

you are entitled to your opinion. though, in this case, your opinion happens to be wrong. i eat at the italian place once every week or so, and it is quite apparent that they do try hard to deliver an authentic italian experience. that is present in the single fact that they make their own noodles every day. they pay homage to the italian staples (bruschetta, meatballs, etc, are all very fine-tuned) and still try new things in their specials. the fact that you can't appreciate the effort alone makes you sad. the fact that they are also local makes them worth giving some support. what's your idea of great food? applebees? pasta house?

here is how you review a restaurant:

"how is the ambiance of the restaurant? in this case, it is good. one of the only patios in farmington. they set a great mood inside with the limited space they are working with.

how are the servers? i've had the same girl (don't remember her name) the majority of the time, and she bends over backwards to give me a good experience. they way the hired help, who has no real stake in the company, treats you is a good indication of how much the owners care.

how is the food? i addressed this earlier. the staples are good, the specials are more often than not good, too. they put a visible amount of effort into every facet of your meal.

how are the prices in comparison to the food? better than a chain, also less expensive than a chain."

here is how you don't review a restaurant:

"my husband watched sopranos once and thus is part italian. since i give my own thoughts little to no worth and go by what he says, ITS BAD LOL."

enjoy your well-done steak smothered in catchup

I agree. I didn't like the food that much either. My waitress wouldn't shut up and messed up my order.
