Golf simulator facility proposed for building on Schoolcraft in Livonia

Livonia golfers might be able to practice their drives and their putts someday soon at a full-swing golf simulator facility.

This probably would not make economic sense on its own for a 90 day season. Operating 8 booths 8 hours per day every day at $20 for a round (2hrs.) would bring in about $60,000. But this side of the business will offset the winter time when bikes and ATVs may not bring as much traffic. It's a good fit and uses the existing resources more efficiently. Plus, many of us who may not be avid golfers could still go there and not be embarrassed in the privacy of a booth.

It's somewhat like the Japanese cuddle cafe.
