Leslie, I LOVE your writings that are more like poetry than anything. And I HATE that you have lost your closest & dearest friend. There aren't a lot of people out there who have shared the same womb with another. One of my best friends died of ovarian cancer the summer of '07; I was with her the whole day and talked her thru it. And try as she wanted, she was too drugged from morphine to be understood. Her husband gave me many of her things after she was gone and one of the things is a little crystal owl in a little box; ironically, the owl has a broken wing which is probably why she put it in the box. I will send it to you soon because one of your wings is broken. She has a fraternal twin in Austria where her ashes are. Maybe some day you can teach me how to make popcorn in a microwave; we could laugh then. Remember laughter? I just know that you will be happy again even 'tho scarred from this. I love the card you sent to me and I hope you get this as I don't have a blog (what's a blog?--something from outer space, or that you find in a cracker jack box
/). It's hard to be almost 70 and missed all of this new stuff. 0x0x microwave Nancy

Yup, right away. Actually, he had contact with them from shortly after he left the car and continued to do so throughout the investigation. Your concern is appreciated though ...

in fact, tony talked to the police BEFORE alicia died. after she 'kicked him out of the car' a OK cop gave him a ride to the bus stop. but no one looked for her that day...

Leslie, I have some things Alicia gave me a long time ago. A beautifully written breakup letter, some photos, and a plastic ring from the cap of a gallon of milk she bent into the shape of a heart. They're yours if you want them, except the milk cap ring. I've always treasured it.
I can also dig around for videos she's on, because there's a few.
I miss both of you. I'm sorry.

I love the discription beautifully written breakup letter. the first email she sent to me had me in a state of awe and tears. I at first thought she did this, but I don't think that at all anymore. i get why we all thought she did and that part is the saddest part for me. I never go a day without thinking about her.
