UI Horrible Response Time

United illuminating does not have the proper resources to deal with this type of emergency. They do not care enough about investing in more crews so they can restore power to their customer base in a reasonable amunt of time. CT Light & Power has done a wonderful job in restoring power to their base. 90% of their customers got power back as of midnight (8/29). UI should be ashamed of themselves in their response to Irene. They are saying it could take until early next week to get the majority of people back on line. I am appalled at the way they've handled this situation.

UI is fast to raise rates and slow to respond to emergencies. Time to look at the leadership of UI, replace them all.

I don't understand why NYC is still vulnerable to these power shortages...
