Judging by your post I surmise you have failed as a human being. You may now kill yourself as you are more a drag on this species than a benifit.

That is all.

Of course native born Americans could handle working in the fields. Or did the US not have farms before Mexicanos started migrating here to work the fields?
If wages for farm labor rose high enough, you'd get people working the fields. Americans won't do those jobs now at these wages, and these wages are low because of the supply of immigrant labor. Decrease the supply of labor, and the price of labor (i.e. wages) will rise.
My guess is that if we enforced immigration law, wages for these jobs would rise as the supply of immigrant labor decreased. That would put pricing pressure on the producers, and we'd probably start importing more produce from Mexico.
But, nobody wants to be called a racist, so we continue this retarded system where we call these people illegal even though their kids go to local schools, they get treated in ER rooms, they open bank accounts and buy houses, etc... A rational system would pick one or the other and enforce it. Either make them legal or enforce immigration law. S**t or get off the pot. But that assumes Americans are capable of being rational.
There is obviously an imigration problem in this country, but legal or illegal, no one should have to die while trying to support their family. Sure raise the wage for farmworkers who are making at least minimum wage and while you are at it, raise the wage for the waitresses, those flipping burgers, and the millions more earning minimum wage. Wages are based on skill, and education. If you want to make more do what it takes. You are right, we will then start importing even more from other countries, we already are a net importer as a nation. Pretty soon with your mentality we will depend on all other nations to feed and cloth us. I can guarantee you that the wages they will be earning in their country is far less then what they or any american will earn in the feilds. Believe it or not, there are millions of americans using the ER free of charge also, as the imigrants are paid they pay taxes, spend their money which contributes to you not paying as much local taxes Don't get me wrong, the imigration issue needs fixed but you can do it with out a fence, allow those that want to come and work, work and pay their fair share: unlike you who sounds more like a flaming left wing democrat itching to make this great country a socialist nation.

It's sad when anyone has to die like that but this is what happens when we import foreign labor to come here and work in sub-standard conditions at slave wages just so some rich farmer can get richer. Isn't this what all of you pro-illegal immigration folks wanted? Make up you minds for Christs sake.
Where did you get substandard conditions and slave wages from??? Is it substandard conditions because it involves working in the dirt??? Is it slave labor because it's beneath you to work for minimum wage???

It's funny that now days when someone becomes successful it's a bad thing. Success is what this country was founded on. Have you ever noticed how many imigrants own their own business and have become successful? It's because they know what hard work provides and does what it takes. If you are angry because you haven't made your millions, don't take it out on those that have. If that phylosophy doesn't appeal to you, you have the right as an americain, a right that most other countries do not provide to their citizens, and that is the right to move out of the country and find some 3rd world country more to your liking. We would probably even use some of the millions we have EARNED to help with your boat fare!

Gratefull? for what? For these farms importing millions of illegal immigrants? For the mistreatment of these illegal workers? For the loss of jobs to citizens? For the barbaric work conditions these illegals face? And for what? to save a few dollars an hour in wages? Disgracefull, im not thankfull at all. Those jobs should be done by Americans. If the jobs paid minimum wage $8.00 and had legal working conditions we wouldnt be reading this story in the news today. Racist slavetraders, like the company that staffed this woman should be jailed immediatly, this farm should be shut down. Id be willing to pay 2x as much for my fruits and vegies if I never had to see annother news story like this.
you are an idiot... you don't have a clue about how much she was paid or the conditions she worked in. Far more LEGAL americans die on their jobs every day. Where is your out cry??? until you have all the facts, it's better to remain silent and appear stupid, then to open your mouth and remove all dought!

I'll guarantee you that 99.9% of employers are paying the illegal aliens minimim wage. It's easy for the workers to get fake ID's and show it to the farmer...that's all the farmer needs to protect himself from having illegals. But if you're not paying minimum wage or SS or carrying workman's comp, you will be out of business real, real fast.
Despite what liberal elitists think, farmers are not stupid.

good post.
As more and more americans become government workers, more and more will have the attitude that "success is evil". Most govt workers have zero appreciation for the source of their income and will vote for more taxes.

Success is relative, but I guess if Jiffy Lube is your goal then you did a great job. Perhaps if you stop licking the used filters they'll promote you to assistant manager... Then you can have all the glue you can eat.
