That's becasue it took 24 times to get the beast and all of his buddies off of him. There were only two of them. Isn't it funny how the biggest guy picks the smallest guy to fight with! What a coward! Perhaps if they didn't start on them because the real person they were looking to kick a** with wasn't there none of this would have happened. These punks were looking for trouble and got it! It won't be long before these teenagers reach adulthood. Then we will find out who the real animals are!

Wow sounds as if those victims are not as innocent as they are portraying themselves to be.

It still doesn't take someone to stab someone else 24 times to get them off of you. What do you do, make all this up as you go along? You actually think it's okay to stab someone, period? Were you ever stabbed 24 times? Most likely not. You talk about it like it's an alright thing to do. No one brings a hunting knife around with them unless they are willing to do harm or have an intention to kill somebody or something, like many others have said. It's self-explanatory and you're just an idiot to realize what's going on. Put yourself in the victim's parents shoes.. YES, THE VICTIM, MEANING THE TEENAGER WHO WAS STABBED 24 TIMES, and try living each day wondering if your son's going to live or not. Hard, isn't it? Or maybe it's not, because you have no care for others. And since you can't do that, you don't know what the family has been through.

Two legals starting with minors.. don't you find it funny that they had a knife on them? And the victim was stabbed first? Don't you also find it funny that the brothers of the one guy were there, basically waiting for the teens to come with a knife on their hands and the one that they were looking to mess with wasn't there? Hmm.. And no, this wouldn't have happened if the one who started it all never called up the teens and said they were going to 'die' that night.

You basically think this is all funny, don't you? They got what they were looking for? Looking to get stabbed? Looking to die? I don't think so. He shouldn't have had the knife there in the first place and if there was going to be a real fight, he could of fought like a MAN. And the stabber is 21, he's considered an adult.. no, wait, an animal. Too immature to be an adult and can't face things like the man he supposivly is.

i cant understand who out there is even considering condoning the vicious stabbing of any human being 1 time, never the less 24 thats 24 times.any of you out there who can even cosider this rational behavior are yuo yourself irrational.anyone capable of this type of violence needs to be put away for ever.

I think that what this person meant was funny as in odd or strange not laughter. I personally don't find stabbing somebody humerous. However it does seem as though the victims and his buddys did intend to fight somebody and seem to enjoy using their hands as violent wepons.

Using ones hands (unless their in the military or their a trained assasin in hand to hand combat) is not the same as stabbing someone. So I really don't get your point??? Intending to fight is something that kids do (not condoning it) but it happens, that's life. We all had our share of "fights" as kids. Stabbing someone 24 times and hitting someone are really not the same thing now is it??

Stabbing can cause death more than fist fighting could. Everywhere he was stabbed could have been a kidney, liver, lung, etc. Fists aren't as violent as knives. So if I were you, I'd rethink your term of 'violent -weapons-'.

Enough already this forum is really getting old. I think it's time to move on with our lives and let the Judge and Jury decide which side is accurate.

Listen , to all u people reading these messaged and comments, i am the girlfriend of the victim who got stabbed 24 times. I think this whole situation shouldnt of escalted into this big thing. Knowing that someone you love so much is going through this pain is rediculous. This guy who did this to my boyfriend is a animal and knowing that i went to school with this guy is pretty scary . This guy is a psycho. And should be locked for life, because he almost killed someone that i truely love. I was there since the first night he was in the hospital till god knows when. You know what me and his family went through? and whats going on with my family? This whole situation put turmoil in my life and its causing alot of drama. This shouldnt of ever happened to him, He never ever deserved it. And for the guy who said he did, should really get his ass kicked because no one deserves to be in the situation that my boyfriend is in. I love with him all my heart and im so thankful i didnt lose him, because me or his family did, it would be the hardest thing in the world.

Let me get this straight. Two teenagers having a problem with one another decide to meet to settle their differences. Teenager 1 tells teenager 2 where to meet to settle the score. Teenager 2 goes to the designated site with his buddies who are there to make sure the fight is fair and no one else jumps in.Upon arrival teenager 1 is nowhere to be found but lo and behold his adult brother is lying in wait with a hunting knife at the ready. As a confrontation takes place, Mr. adult hunting knife proceeds to stab one of the teenagers 24 times. Not once or twice but 24 times. This kind of action reminds me of the guido punks I knew from Brooklyn that always wanted to be the tough guy. Unfortunatly they cannot fight like real men do with their hands so they resort to being a coward and use a weapon. But as I tell my teenage kids, you are responsible for your actions. This guy belongs in jail for a very long time.

In just reading this post.. I know it is old, but are the teens safe in Howell after this horrible criminal act? I for one, who am new in this state..(I thought was safe) and spent a lot of money on a home to raise my kids...Now want to get out of here.. How can this unjust crime be overlooked..From my understanding, he is out of prison. Do I need to get a gun? knife or some sort of weapon to walk the streets around here? Will he try to get anyone else?? Do we live in fear, or is this being taken care of? How horrible!!! I am just a couple of towns away..

I don't think stabbing someone 24 times is self defense. I hope the psycho gets life! Instead of fighting about this issue, why not see what we can do about all this violence. There is alot going on in Howell and Freehold Township with the teenagers that many people don't know about.
