Piyush "Billion Dollar Slush Fund Bobby" Jindal could help you all, but he will not. He controls a slush fund (approximately $900,000,000 from the surplus' Blanco left him), allegedly for economic expansion. He gave the civil engineering firms in Houma $100,000,000 for a faulty levee system (built to same soil standards as the failed levees in New Orleans). Now, those people in Houma and the Corps of Engineers are supposed to pay for that project, but he gave the money anyway as payoff for help in the election. He could just as well, with that money, sustain the poltry growers and the unemployed workers, until the bankrupcy sells the plant. That same slush fund could buy the factory, or act as co signer on a loan to a group of the growers and employees, to let them buy the factory. The employees and the growers could make it a co op (maybe not. Its not a republican philosophy) to reduce costs and expenses until the "chicken market" turns around. Then reorganize into a "for profit" entity corporation and issue stock for public trading. All the employees and growers would stand to make a good profit for doing that. Well, maybe not. Jindal is a novice at real business oportunities in cris situations. And he damn sure isn't going to do anything his party leaded "Rush Limbaugh" hasn't told him to. Ya'll need a Democrat in the govenors mansion to save you. Just remember, ya voted for Piyush, and he owes you. Make him squeel like a fresh stuck pig on Thanksgiving.
