First off I am going to start by saying "I reside in the yellow apartments and have been there for going on 10 years." The yellow apartments has always had a bad reputation for as long as I can remember. At one time there were several "DRUGGIES" that were and I quote "WERE" occupants here. Since that time we have gotten new management and they over a period of time did indeed weed out the not so decent people. Now, I'm going to tell you first hand that I am not here by choice believe that. I had no choice back in December of 2003 when I chose to leave my ex-husband and file for a divorce due to the use of drugs. I MADE THAT CHOICE TO LEAVE AND GET BETTER FOR MY 3 CHILDRENS SAKE. And still to this day , just because my children and I have no other choice but to live where we do I am still being stereo-typed. I know you didn't pin point any specific person or people, but when you say "DRUGGIES in the yellow apartments" You are talking about me because I DO LIVE HERE!!! I have seen a lot of people come and go here, and I would have to say the neighbors that I have at this time are by far better than any others that has lived here. I guess what I am trying to say is " know your facts before you start hatin and stereotyping people!!!! Thank you

Amen... Lady ur the exception, theres so many methheads and pill heads it isnt funny.. You should try other assistance programs if ur trying to btr urself.. I do undrstand that but the yellows are not ur only option.,. Never believe that ppl are innocent and not pn drugs i know quite a few ppl who reside there not friends but thru acquintances and of all the ones i knOw are ALL druggies and pill heads.,. I love the ppl that live there and claim not to have income but drive brand new cars and have the money for drugs and four wheelers and all kindsa junk, must be nice when u have no other bills since my taxes r paying ur way. Enjoy it while u can bcuz ur kids r Alrdy being stereotyped so live it up and enjoy it while u can .. U get what u deserve. I work 50 hrs a week and still cnt afford vehicles as nice as half the ones that r parkd there, its called FRAUD!!!!!!

Well now that really narrows it down...lol since im really the only one out here that has older kids. My kids are being stereo-typed as what? Hmmmm I really wish you would tell me because let me tell you a little somethin honey...My son is a senior, plays on the football team has been on the team his entire time at North Central which is since 7th grade. He is well known and very popular. My 16 year old just got inducted to the National Honor Society in which you will be hearing on the local news stations in the near future, is well liked and very popular as well as a straight a student. And my 13 year old is also a straight a student and happens to play softball and is exceptional at it if i must say so myself. So STEREOTYPED....lol Everyone I'm sure is stereotyped at some point i their life. Who really cares what people think they know... That just shows how stupid they are for listening to the people running their mouths. Oh and who said people here say they have "NO INCOME" I dont believe I've ever said such thing, but they do base your monthly rent on your income.And we (enants of the yellows) have billds to pays just like anyone else. And most of us if not all of us are mainly here because we have dead beat pieces of shit fathers whom wont take on the responsibility of being a REAL parent!!!!!

i totally agree with you honey uts not ur fault that ppl stereotype ppl, ur kids sound amazing its awesome that youve done such an amazing job as a single parent keep ur uead up love and sont let ppl judge and if they do then that makes them extremely shallow
