Someone suggested Farmersburg students who live 5 blocks or less from school should walk. They voted no on that. Yet Hymera students must walk to school. Why is it ok for Hymera but not Farmersburg? I totally disagree that any child should have to walk. Many parents are unable to drive their children to school. This leaves many children walking to school in the dark, the rain, during storms, snow etc... All which are very unsafe conditions!
