Why? Because the corporations control our elected officials with the money they give to those officials by the millions of dollars each year. Thier legislation is bought and paid for by Corporations. We no longer have a goverment for the people, by the people. But for the corporations by the corporations. Our goverment has been privatized by the corporations for the corporations, for their benefit. They benefit from illegal aliens being here, as they get no benefits and are paid lower wages. They get their medical benefits at the local hospital at the ermengency room. You are the insurance company and pay their benefits with your taxes. It is all about the $$$$$ And insurance only gets more expensive each time around. The cheap labor is why the illegals are here in the first place. They could not exist if someone did not make $$$ from their labor

I agree with most of the comments posted here. However, you also need to make a distinction between Mexicans who cross the border illegally and therefore are in this country illegally (don't care about US culture, learning the language, and remain in their own Spanish-speaking communities, etc) and US legal residents from Mexico (or other countries) who -like me and many others- are educated, assimilated into this culture and who came to this country by choice, not by chance. Many of us, US legal residents, are also fed up with the way Washington's lack of responsible action is affecting our communities and our neighborhoods. That's the only point I wanted to make.

If you go to a hospital with cash the charge is a third of what they charge than if you have insurance. Were the figures gathered with cash or insurance value? Like the 60 dollar aspirin. If you go to the hospital, with insurance and they charge three times as much, why do you have to pay the 20 percent from a 80 20 insurance policy? Haven't they already made a substantial amount from the 80 percent they receive from the insurance company? Are we just padding someone’s wallet? and, do not use Careflight if you think there's a good chance you won't die. Insurance only pays 40 percent of their overcharges.

I totally agree. It's not good for legal Hispanics, many that have been here for generations, to be lumped in with the incredible amount of illegals here. I'm amazed that legal citizens support amnesty just because they have a similar skin tone.
