Did they say Drunk Drivers and Killed in one sentence?

Well.....they go well together since the laws
in our state mandates maximum prison sentence
of only 4.5 years.

No justice there If you think about how he'll
only get a couple and probation after that.

The worst part is the idiot drunk will plea
his case with a shed tear and be free to go
about his daily life like nothing has happened
and he will drive drunk again.

All we can do is keep on reporting them to the
police if we see them on the road....hoping to
not be his or her next innocent victim.

Also, don't get in the vehicle with a drunk. You might not get home alive. I think there was other things going on here based upon the time of the accident and the behavior afterwards. He does need to spend time in jail. A long time.

WOW, you can predict the future, huh? Gimme a break. "Free to go about his life like nothing has happened?" Are you serious? I'd like to see you be in his shoes and then say that. This young man's life will never be the same and he will have to pay the price for his actions the rest of his life by facing the fact that a precious friend died. I can't even begin to imagine what he must be going through. We've all been young and made poor choices -- many of us continue to do so for many years. I encourage you to get off your righteous soapbox and think about the times something like this could have happened to you or someone close to you when a decision was made to drink and drive. If you can honestly say that you never have done so, then more power to you. You should run for President.
