"Sequestration will cost 170 million jobs"

This is more of the same-ol-same-ol from the 'new' Republican Party. Look at their history over the last two years. The Republicans in Congress are deliberately 'sabotaging' our own Government thinking it will win elections, at the expense of suffering Americans and our economy. For two years they have attempted everything they can do to stop and block anything which could help America.

If you don't believe me .....

"For the next two years, we canít let you (Obama/Biden) succeed in anything. Thatís our ticket to coming back."

This Sequestration was the White House's proposal in order to raise the debt ceiling. Biden and McConnell were praised by the President for agreeing, and the Media promoted it as Obama Winning again. So you now you are going to come on here and post bull shit aobut this being the GOP's fault??? Too much Kool aide Jenny, stop watching the bullshit on MSNBC

The non-partisan Congressional Budget Office predicts 750,000 jobs could be lost in 2013, and federal employees throughout the country are looking to trim their own costs.

"The kids won't go to the dentist, the kids might not go to the doctor, we won't be spending money in local restaurants, local movie theaters," said Paul O'Connor, president of the Metal Trades Council, which represents some 2,500 workers at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, Maine.

As I said, it's more of what the Republican leadership has been doing for two years. They admit to it.

ďI think Friday will be an important day that shows weíre finally willing to stand and fight for conservative principles and force Washington to start living within its means. And that will be a big victory.Ē
-- Steve Scalise, Republican Louisiana Representative and chairman of the conservative Republican Study Committee

Catch the 'we are' and 'force Washington' part? Kinda contradicts the claim that it's President Obama's doing. Again, as I said in my other post, just look at the Republican Party's deliberate obstructionism over the last two years.

Another important repeat. Note that the sequester and cuts from it will affect lower middle-class and low-income families the most, and not the rich. And the Republicans think this is an important day and a big victory? After all, it's only the '47 percent' and people like the elderly who will suffer, huh?

Another point. If it's so easy to do cuts in Government then why didn't the Republicans do them? They were in office for eight years.
