The failed Mn State Constitutional Ammendment was defeated with slick PR work, money and deception. Overturning the existing Mn State law banning gay marriage is not a slam-dunk. Gay marriage will never fly in Minnesota.

Just like it will "never fly" in Maine, Maryland, & Washington??

Pssst, you're crytal ball predictions have been proven wrong FOUR TIMES STRAIGHT!!!!

I doubt the Dems will make the same mistake the GOP did when they got control of the MN legislature 2 years ago. The GOP promised to focus on jobs but spent most of their time trying to pass a constitutional ban on gays marrying.

The Dems will focus on the budget this coming year, but will almost certainly pass a marriage equality bill in 2014 before the election.

And don't forget the SCOTUS will finish overturning Prop 8 on Nov 26th, and then we get California back as well!!!
