'House Bill 1040, a North Dakota state law passed in January 2007 that bars protestors from getting within 300 feet of a funeral'

Good for ND!

There are few people in this world as evil hearted as the Westboro Church members.

Unlike them, the other citizens of America will be praying for and helping the North Dakotans in their time of need.

Westboro Baptist Church members should be ashamed of themselves.

This is only one example:

Well good for North Dakota!! Everybody knows those Westboro "church" people are idiots. At least everyone but them. I hope the people of Fargo and other areas affacted by this flood know that many people care and are praying for them. Good luck to you all.

It amazes me that the Phelps Family of Westboro Baptist Church haven't realized that the entire country thinks they are insane and satanic. I wonder if they ever have moments where they conscience gets to them or do they even have a conscience? Either way...God loves us ALL and I hope they will be forgiven for THEIR sins.

This is typical of the innane, small, insignificant family which is lead by an insecure, overbearing, illiterate and insensitive, anti-religious (YES ANTI True religious ideas) idiot. It's comforting to see that people don't classify Kansans (who can be somewhat conservative--HA!) as being the ilk of the Flipsoff...oops Phelps. It takes all kinds and this one is at the bottom of the heap.

Luk 17:26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

Yeah, as it was in the days of Noah, floods and all, and my Masters is just warming up.

Psa 58:10 The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked. So that a man shall say, Verily there is a reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth.

It seems to me WBC is right on track, telling it like it is, rejoicing in their Lord and his judgments. It's only blind fools who cannot see the writing on the wall. I don't know why you are all up in arms, whinging and whining at the judgment of the Lord. These things should fill you all with faith, fear, and trembling at what is coming on the earth. These judgments should lead you to repentance. But NO! Like the wicked of old, you bash your heads against the wall, wailing, weeping and raging, your feet held fast in concrete sin as the steam roller comes down the road. Then you take out your flattened rage on the only folk who love you, who warn you, who put their lives on the line trying to get through to you fools. How stupid is that? How ungrateful, Look out! here comes the roller, SQUASH!! Ha ha ha

Cathy must be reading a different Bible than me. Or more likely, Cathy has a different God. She says: "God loves us all"

Yet I just read my Master's Word concerning the wicked and the just:

Mat 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn. Mat 13:40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Tell me about this God that loves us ALL Cathy. How does he deal with the wicked? Does he have a policy of 'wink wink, nudge, nudge' when it comes to sin? Instead of burning them all up, does he set them on high in penthouse apartments? Has he got a book I can read? Was he in the garden? Does he say, "Ye shall not surely die". Is that your God Cathy?

I am appauled at the fact that any God-loving person (much less a church)could sit back and not help their neighbor in their time of need. I live in Louisiana and thank God daily for all of the help that I received after Hurricane Lily. I cannot imagine not helping someone when they need me. What better way to witness and share your faith with them? Maybe they should examine their hearts before they praise God for someone else's devistation. Take it from someone who knows!

Very well said! Like the prophets of old, people don't heed prophesy. John was the voice of one crying in the desert. This time the flood. The Good Book says the word will be consumed by fire. So water first. A harbinger for the righteous.

See ye the Lord and the paths of righteousness.

The Phelps family is a joke. One day they will get theirs. I hope when they are standing in front of the Lord Jesus Christ, being judged, he is holding a sign that says "God hates biggots!"
Then and only then will justice be done.

The source of their little temper tantrum stems from the fact that North Dakota passed a law which prevents protesters from getting within 300 feet of a funeral. That’s right, they are going around to FUNERALS all over the country protesting with filthy signs and images that won’t even be uttered here. AND they have the audacity, the arrogance to presume that the reason for the current flood in North Dakota was because of them. If we only let them protest at our American Soldier’s funerals, then we would not be flooding. Apparently, they missed the lesson on Pride being one of the Seven, and the fact that rain falls on the just and the unjust alike. Precipitation and meteorology are completely foreign to the WBC.

Now to the Westboro Baptist "Church", I’m sure I speak for much of North Dakota when I say this….bring it on. If we will ever be punished for protecting grieving families from you spewing your filth then you have said one thing that is absolutely correct WBC…we do not worship your god. A “god” that seeks revenge solely to punish those protecting others is definitely no god of mine. We SHALL turn back this flood that, according to you, your “god” has sent BECAUSE of you, and we SHALL do it with sandbags, volunteers, and a triumph of the human spirit. Even if it flows over the banks, it SHALL not break that spirit. Homes will be rebuilt and life will go on for us, and the law will remain in the books to keep your wicked tongue behind your teeth!!

You sure have a lot of nerve by saying God is showing his wrath by making the floods come in North Dakota. Have you forgotten that Kansas is located in Tornado Alley. If I was you I would keep my stupid mouth shut.

PHINEAS, DO you not know that God loves us all, it is not is will that any should perish but all to come to repentance. We are to teach them how to be saved. Your group sounds like Obama and congress, has to be your way or no way, sorry God dosen't work like that. I have read your scriptures in your post, you are taking part of some scriptures trying to justify your actions, sorry it isn't working. God will judge us all on the day of judgement, we can know if what we are doing is right or wrong by reading the bible, God says to love one another , we are each responsible for our own actions. We can't make people do anything they do not want to do, that is why we are free moral agents. I guess if you think the flood in ND was punishment to them, when you had a fire to your so called church, then I guess God was punishing all of you for your hatred to all the people you have hurt.

It would be justice if Westboro Church and fellow members would follow Jonesboro(JIM JONES) idealogy and go on to there final judgement. I'm sure God would love to meet this bunch of loons. I can just imagine to look and than the laughter HE would have. Can you picture this bunch crying and begging for mercy because they have to know that they are NOT in GODS GOOD GRACE. Silly people caught up in thier own egos. Really suprising that the whole bunch is not erradicated already. Be hard to not control my rage IF they did this posturing anywhere near the death of loved one. West Virginia Coalminer. Sure would of got the shit kicked out of them here and they knew it. Also, how is it possible that theres no LAW preventing "protesting" a funeral. The American Blood has been getting more watered down with each time we have an election.

Well Hell, Phelps believes in predestination....no need to warn anybody about anything.....god has already predestined who is going to Heaven, so freddy has been wasting his time, all of these years. Shame, he could have spent all of those wasted years on his favorite hobby......giving head.
