Salina man killed in crash

Maurice E. Smith, 310 E. North, No. 31, was killed when the car went off the west side of the road near mile post 92 at 4:52 a.m., striking a wire fence and a utility pole by Centennial Road, said Salina Deputy Police Chief Carson Mansfield.

I am just amazed that such a cute young man would let all the jerks in Salina get to him. I am so tired of all the haters that can still sleep at night after all the crap they talked on someone that same day--God dont like ugly! Maurice was very talented, handsome and kind. I pray for his father Ed, his brothers Marcus and Matt, his sisters, his friends that were truly friends, his nieces and nephews and everybody else whom truly loved Maurice. RIP young man!!

Maurice was original.. he was amazing, he made everyone laugh with whatever he said.. always broke the ackward silences.. i remember seeing him frown twice in my life. what an amazing the angels took to jesus that day.. RIP Maurice. We ALL WILL LOVE YOU UNTIL THE DAY WE COME TO SEE YOU.. whatever or whoever was the catalyst to this, i hope they rot for eternity.. not only that i hope they're lifes here on earth are a living hell.. i hope they are never happy.. and i hope and pray that he is smiling down on us telling us "it's only hard for you guys, but i'm happy here."... oh Maurice, how we love you always and forever..
