After waiting for the opening of Bellissios, I was completely disappointed with my first experience. I had given them a few weeks to work out the grand opening bugs then placed a take out order. When I returned home I found that they had completely messed up our $100 order. When I called to bring it to the attention of the mananger, he only said that there was nothing he could do but reminded me that they were just opening!

To top it off, the food was quite subpar. When compared to Scottos or Basta Pasta there is no reason to even consider Bellisimos.

Against my better judgement I return again recently. Same bland food, same bad service. In my book two strikes and your out!

I give every place try in belair and was disappointed just as I was when it was crackpot, this place is beautiful inside and SOME of the servers there are very polite, helpful, the food is OKAY, but not great, the only advantage is having leftovers, I've been there 3 times and have seen so many different servers from last visit, the greek manager that comes around to see how things are just puts up a phony smile and goes to certain tables,I've only seen 1 africian american in the place, sounds a little suspect to me,I have been to this establishment 3 times and not once has any manager come to see how my experience has been.Wow another Denny's Episode is coming

Bellissimo is a HORRIBLE restaurant. The food is just okay, yes, the space itself is very beautiful, but the kicker is that the managers and owners and complete assholes only concerned with making money. They will not go out of their way to make sure you're satisfied. The customer is only right when they are happy with Bellissimo, or any of the other places they own, like The Double T diners.
NEVER GO TO BELLISSIMO OR ANY DOUBLE T. The owners are total jerks. Food is subpar. I'm not surprised that there are no good reviews for this place.

What is that supposed to mean? You actually think a resturant in this day and age would refuse service to black people. Sounds like you have a victim chip on your shoulder. News flash...there are not many black people living in Bel Air which is perhaps why you didn't see many of them in that resturant.

I wonder if this is from the sub par singer/guitarist they had on Friday? I'm sorry they stopped you in the middle of your set but you were frightening small children and the elderly with the your cat strangling voice and sloppy guitar work. Good luck killing music one song at a time!!

I am on my to Bellissimo's and given the reviews herewith, I am prepared for very little. However, the comment below has to be the stupidest I have ever read. Really??? Are we going to insert race in restaurant reviews? Or simply because a restaurant doesn't appear to have whatever in the hell is consider a fair quota a minorities we are going to equate it to Denny's. Whoever wrote this comment, here's a memo to you: You have no concept of what being an American means. You're not worthy of the proud history of this country's founders or it's leaders since. You are a pathetic excuse for an adult. And if the restaurant is so damned bad, stop going there, genius.

I completley disagree with the comments saying Bellissimo is a horrible restaruant. I don't know what they ate, but my food was great. The crab dip appetizer is very good and I got the Sophia Loren for my main course and I thought it was outstanding and the staff was excellent too!

All of you guys are half illiterate shmucks. Using words like stupidest? Where in the hell did you go to school? Or do you spell it skool? And lovin food... if I was a betting man in which I am not, I would say from your name and comment you are probably an overweight number one. And besides whats wrong with not having alot of blacks? Finally a place I can eat without a lot of noise and ebonics and screaming children running around half clothed and throwing shit. If you go into a predominantly white area what do you expect? I've never gone to east baltimore and apon entering a shithole place said..."Jeez theres not alot of whites in here..thats suspect to me!" Maybe because I stay out of places I don't fit in.

The place is good to go. It's not a Liberatores but it's good.

Well said. I was at a restaurant recently in a racially-mixed area and there was a black lady talking ebonics on her cell phone through the whole meal so loudly, everyone, including other blacks, were shaking their heads and staring at her. While she was on her phone, her two kids were running all over the place, grabbing things off of empty tables and screaming. No male was present, just the lady's mother (from what I could gather).

we have been to Bellissmmo in Bel Air, MD three times so far- we have plans to go back this weekend. I don't know what the others are complaining about. we have had wonderful meals even when we've gone with a very large party. It's far better than Olive Garden. The food was very good- huge portions, and the wait staff has been very accomodating to our needs. for the price you cannot do better.
I also have no complaints about Double T in Perry Hall, MD. The staff is very friendly and the food is good. Again they give you HUGE portions and charge no more than other restaurants. The only draw back is that they are always crowded- and that should tell you something about their food and service.

Vincenzo Diamicci, though disturbed proposes a good point. How many times have you been in a restaurant and see an African American person causing a ruckus? Probably, to get out of paying the bill, or a discount? Now what would happen if we were in east Baltimore and did the same thing? Sounds like “lov’n food” got what they deserved! By the way, what does society actually owe so called African Americans for slavery? Still living they would be pretty old (1865). Wake up!!!

went for our 3 year anniversary dinner, it was wonderful, the service was great and the food was great, the portions are huge, it includes bread and salad. we had no room for dessert, waitress Jessica gave us a free piece of cake to take home.

My wife and I have eaten at Bellissomo's once a month since it opened, and our eating experience has been just fine. They give you great tasting bread and salad with your meal. Their crabcakes are outstanding. Their Eggplant Parmesano is our favorite dish, and they give you large amouts of food. The steaks are mouth-watering delicious. We have never had a problem, sorry the other folks didn't like ther food. Maybe where ever they go they get bad meals. We higly recommend Bellissomo's, owners are very nice, food is excellent and the servers are friendly. And I ownly go to places that serve good food. Some people just have bad luck, not me, I am a lucky guy.... Pete the Greek

I along with several of my friends love Belissimo's.
We have eaton there several times and have always had great service, very tasty food and have always left with a smile on our face. We have been so happy with them that our "Tea and Read" group has made it our bimonthly luncheon event.
I am also a member of the Red Hat Society and our Queens Group, and chapters have never had any problems. I am talking about the one in Bel Air, Md. Staff has always been very friendly.
Love it!

The food is excellent, the service is great!!! This has become one of our families favorite restaurants. It's the only restaurant in Bel Air that I think serves excellent seafood dishes. We've even held company dinners there and the place has been packed, but the service and food did not suffer.

As former VP of Mustang Club of Maryland with 400 members in our club which we have meetings there at least 5 meetings there a year and we have anywhere from 35 to 60 people attending our meetings. our club members rave how FANTASTIC the food, service and members of the staff of the Resturant . we never
had a bad or disappointing meal, service at Bellissimo's. we plan to go back there in the future. my wife and i visit there at least once a month. they have the BEST crab cakes, ribs, crab pretzels, cream of crab soup in the state of Maryland. Thank you Nick and Staff for taking over the Crack Pot.
