Bob DiPietro, even though I was a Republican -- i respected you as an independent minded member of the Town Council. However your recent praise of Tim "Slim Jim" Breslin and Schlob Villanova on the Courant's Topix boards have really surprised me. Spending has gotten out of control in the Farmington Schools in recent years. Dean of Students at the High School...other fluff positions...Farmington is turning into west hartford or Simsbury. Farmington used to be great because it produced better results while spending way less. If only Sam Irritano were younger and had the stamina to run for school board again.... I do appreciate his efforts taking on the liberal budget spending. The current council and Board are giving the town away. I have no faith in Mary DisGrace Reed. Break the teachers union. Zero budgeting, 3 year salary free must be implemented this year.
You're a coward. Post your name like a man.

How utterly childish and cowardly to post insulting comments about Farmington's distinguished school superintendent, administrators and elected officials. Farmington Public Schools continue to flourish year after year on extremely tight budgets. We get a big bang for our buck in this town and we are the envy of many because of our school system. Maybe if Luckystreich had paid attention in school, he would be able to spell people's names correctly and maybe if he were brought up with any manners, he would know that name calling is very destructive to a community. We call it bullying in Farmington.
