Looks like the mayors' strategy of driving businesses out and artists in is not the right way to go. Change is needed at the throne.

If Bo and Nancy focus their efforts in the Village Beautiful and in the Southern Berkshires they will do much better than continuing to deal with NA and Mayor Barrett.

Please stop blaming the Mayor for everything you nitwit, the place was simply awful and there other restaurant in Williamstown is over priced and the food is fair at best!

they are focussing on their new (2nd) restaurant in williamstown. North Adams Antiques on main street is also moving to Williamstown. 2nd Chance moved to Adams last year after an unsuccessful try in North Adams downtown. The flowers are beautiful as everyone says, but they don't buy much.

earthy crunchy, non-American? who gives a crap? But you were dead on about the mood. The few times I had been there the staff was always insanely rude.

BoBoy is moving his restaurant and money to Williamstown while funding Alcombright and this is Mayor Barrett's fault? Get a clue!

Right on litigist! Moca will be better off with a more friendly restaurant and much better food.

Amen brother. Have you ever been to Mezze. Great place to go if you want to have eight dollar an hour employees look down their noses at you. They must send them all away to a retreat for re-programming.

The basics are:

(a) you are not a waitron. You are someone who has actually accomplished something in your life.

(b) the people you serve, whether they be doctors, lawyers, entrepreneurs, etc, are worthless people who will never rise to your level.

(c) the people you serve are so stupid that the worse you treat them, the better they will think our overpriced and underperforming restaurants are.

(d) notwithstanding your superiority, you are still only getting eight dollars an hour.

Good riddance Bo and Nancy. Move it all to Great Barrington. We'll all be better off.

That's a pile of crap. Bo is pouring money into Alcombright's campaign. I wonder if his stuck up eight dollar an hour employees are all making contributions?

Cafe Latino has terrible food. The service is totally disappointing. Mezze isn't much better. Maybe it's time to try some one else?

So many restaurants have come and gone in North Adams. Sad really. We've had some really great ones. Remember Zoie's on Main Street? How about El Tesoro (a lot of drama, but great food). The best bar ever was 55 Main when Rob or Ray ran it. A shame the mayor gave him such a hassle. I liked going to that place. Now it's the Hub, great food and prices. Gramercy is simply fantastic and has managed to weather all the BS that comes from the corner office dictator. Oh yeah, let's not forget about Nobbies. I really miss them. Shame the mayor had to forece them off of main street as well. I'll miss Latino, especially the fish tacos.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Aries

Someone wants to go their own way today and they won't care whose feathers they ruffle in the process. It's a lunar eclipse at the Full Moon in Cancer, so let them get on with it. The last thing you should do now is to hang on to their coat-tails or do anything else that will make them feel restricted. Make it plain that you've got your own fish to fry, thank you very much. And try not to let it stop you enjoying yourself. Have a great night!
