Teachers should be role models. Teachers should, while at school practice local parentis-- in place of parent while on duty. There should not be any behaviors while the teacher is on duty other than providing a safe learning environment for the children they are in care for.

That said, teachers are human- and to be human is a wonderful thing; but none of us are perfect.

Are all parents the "ideal?" NO... and neither are the teachers- are the Moral dilemma affecting our children? If the answer is yes-- get that teacher out of there...

Is this just a case where the teachers personal life transitioned and their family is at risk--but this transition is outside of their duty time? If so; leave it alone.

I guess I am just am not aware of a teacher in the FCPS school system that doesn't truly care about the children in their care during their regularyly sheduled work day. Is there documented proof to the contrary?

<quoted text>Well maybe I'm just trying to be a voice of reason. Do you see me coming on here and saying "I heard" or "I believe this is true because someone else said it". That is gossip. So if reminding people that if you didn't see or hear it first hand then it's a rumor is being "guilty" then so be it. Just remember that karma is a bitch that bites hard. You could be next.

<quoted text>Well just to let you know the definition of gossip is something heard and not known first hand so if I post something about somebody it's first hand knowledge not something I've "heard" around town. Yes, admittedly sometimes I post facetiously just to dramatize the idiocy of some of the issues. But, then again I don't have to resort to name calling in my posts either. This is just my opinion here but I don't think name calling is very up right or moral. You expounded how you dislike how people who think so little of themselves, well name calling shows (in my opinion only) just how little you think of yourself.

And posting facetiously IS up right and moral? Exactly, it causes drama so just to let YOU know... that's not very up right or moral.

I'm not disagreeing with you about the adults, but please leave the kids out of this. It isn't appropriate to use them in your arguement.

Who gives a shit. If they want to cheat on their husbands, why does it bother you? As long as my husband doesn't sleep with them, it doesn't affect my household. It shouldn't bother you either. You must be jealous.

Well, if they are such losers I think that is the pot calling the kettle black if you can't even put your name on here to be big enough to say who you are! Oh, that is right you might have something that people will write about you!

Different Names/Different Rules is all I can say. Some teachers are heald accountable and some are not. It's ok to get drunk and allow minors to also drink at teacher parties, it's ok to have illicit affairs in front of other staff and studentsd, it's ok to leave students and go out and have a few if your name is within a certain social class or you are in agreement with the outrageous behaviors of the others doing the same thing. Stand up for what is right or do your job effectively going over and above and your out the door. What does that sat for our school systems. The sad thing is that it makes FC Public school look like a joke. Where is the proper education of our students. It seems they are getting educated alright but it's how to manipulate, cheat and party. I am so thankful that my children attend Sacred Heart where the teaching values are impecable and the teachers care about teaching the students not who's getting drunk with who or who's bed they'll end up in after the Friday night admin party. Thank you staff and administration of FCPS for convincing me once again I made the right choice to switch my children to FCSH.

Of course you're happy sending your child to SH, you're a parent. According to rumors, FCPS keeps their affairs within staff, while a SH administrator has his with parents of students, so your chances of infidelity are better. Or does spectacular coaching in Class D negate those affairs? Wonder how SH's superintendent of everything (God) feels about that... Use your ass to shit, not to speak.

EV is very qualified to be principle of North School. He is also the special education coordinator, so many of you probably need his services.
