we are so spolied by technology.
But should use it to make our lives easier.
But also need to have a backup plan..just in case.
We are going to in serious trouble when
our electric grid and computers ever
go out of order for a LONG period of time.
A person needs to keep at least a week of
supplies at home.
A must on the list
...water
...batteries (flashlights...radios...ect..)
...food that don't need cooled
...A MEDICAL KIT & medication
...AND SOME $ CASH $
just sayin.

Do those of you complaining honestly think no one is trying? Do you think those that can help are just sitting at home not caring? My goodness! Why not try asking, what happened? And tech you're right on the money with that one.

Belly Aitken should spend more time working on the engines and less time riding around town with his flashing light on.

He is not doing his job. He looks for other city jobs outside the power plant. The job he was hired to do is not being done.

Wonder what you bellyachers would do if you lived in a town that didn't have generators that they could put on line in an emergency. If the town spent the money to replace the generators, like needed, you'd be bitching that they were spending the money for them and not things for the kids. The generators are so old they can not find parts for them anymore and would need total replacement. How about being thankful for the power you do have and when it's your part of towns time to be in a blackout you go check on your neighbors.

The library, swim park, ball fields, jug brown field and the hospital are all awesome additions to falls city. I do not know of any other smaller community with such wonderful facilities. These improvements are one of the reasons I choose to stay in Falls City. If I move to a bigger city with nice facilities you end up with traffic, crime, etc. While Falls City has it's problems, it is nothing compared to a larger city. Find another town of 5,000 people that the amenities this city offers...

Be Thankful you live in such a wonderful community. I have lived in many different places and while the gossip may get a little out of hand at times, at least you don't have inner city gangs roaming your streets...

And I know, the next person is going to name all the things that could be better in this town... Enjoy what you have, if you have a better idea...make it happen, otherwise STFU!
