Arrest Made in Greenbrier Home Invasion

Investigators say Johnson broke into an elderly man's home in Grassy Meadow on May 20th.

About time they caught him. Maybe they'll do more that give him a slap on the hand this time. This is the same guy who was just given a "fine" for stealing an elderly lady's medication back in Jan., http://www.cbs59.com/story.cfm... . To the courts, enough is enough. Keep him off the streets before he kills somebody for a fix, steals everybody blind and kills himself with an overdose.

I do agree.. so glad he is behind bars, this is insane what he did, and what he has done to others. He is gross, where he lives is gross! Now southern regional can keep him. He has been involved in so much. A young man like him beating an old man, then taking checks to Kroger and cashing them. Like to see his ass get beat! They need to keep up the good work. Good, I hope they get all the dealers, the thieves and put them in jail with a real sentences and not joke. Anyone who is addicted I hope gets help, serious help. Greenbrier Co. needs cleaned up.

My dad was the victim in this case. I dont know how this man would have found my dad unless he follows people around or something. I dont know anything about this person, as far as his background or where he hangs out, etc., but I know that he is very, very mean and evil after what he did to my too trusting 86-year old father. I pray that they can keep him in jail where he can rot! I take it from previous comments that he is on pills, so i guess that is why he robbed my dad. Thanks for caring.

How is your father? I hope he wasn't hurt badly. I unfortunately know the guy and agree with all that's been said about him. This entire drug thing is out of hand and I hope they get every last one of them. I've never seen the boy alone, always someone with him so I hope if anyone else was involved, they get time too. Yes he was on pills and shot them up. He usually run around Rupert and Rainelle mostly. Does make you wonder how he knew what your father had, I'd look into it or it could have been just a random break-in. Several homes here in Rupert including mine have been broken into. Nothing of mine was missing but my cabinet doors in the kitchen and bath were open so I know that's what they were after. Sorry to disappoint them. I do think the elderly are more of a target as they take more meds.
You need to petition the court to give the maximum sentence, speak to the prosecutor and be there looking them in the eye on the court dates. It makes a difference.

He and wife live on Ridge street in a nasty trailer, and those across the road in the other nasty trailers are all drug buddies. I know a few of the "good decent" neighbors, and all of them having a fit of the "trash" that has moved in. Those people dont feel safe leaving, afraid of coming home to nothing!! From my understanding, half dont have power, extension cords ran across to road, others dont have water, who knows about sewer. The "good " people on Ridge street is suffering for all the garbage! Something ought to be done. They arent safe, for the community, neighbors, or in this case any elderly person in Gbr county. I hope your father is well and God bless you!

My dad is doing pretty well now (thanks to everyone for asking.) I guess I am really thankful he wasnt hurt more than he was or didnt have heart attack with struggling with him. He has an orthopedic appointment for his elbow which has fluid collected on it from the bruising but other than that he is well again. It is a very hard thing to see your own father scared or afraid of something. When my daughter was upset and crying that night, I so much wanted to tell her it was alright and that she was safe, but it wasnt alright and she wasnt really safe with people like that around.
If no one would mind, I will print out these comments and see if I can submit these with my letter for the prosecuting attorneys office also. I am really hoping that with an armed robbery charge they can get this guy locked up and off the streets for awhile. Thanks so much for the information and your good wishes for my dad. With his age, knowing people care means a lot! God Bless all of you!

I am certainly not trying to judge anyone else besides the man that robbed my dad.Also my sister passed away in December 2006 from an overdose so I do know. What Mr. Johnson did to my dad is awful no matter how you look at it. I am not here to argue about all of the criminals in the world or about my neighbors. You are right about not being safe and I probably have learned to feel insecure and more cautious now, however I wonder how you would feel if it were your dad also, have you thought of it that way? You would want the person that did it behind bars also Im pretty sure.
