When we built our home we had to install a septic system, have it inspected, get perk tests, etc. All of these things cost us money. Five years later we were told public sewage was coming through and we had to tap in...we had no choice! I am not sure how this goes against their religious beliefs, but if I were the neighbors of these people, I would want their sewage handled the same way all others in the neighborhood.
