08/31/11,FALL RIVER — Two men were arrested Wednesday to be charged with robbing the Rockland Trust bank branch, 855 Brayton Ave., Wednesday.
Paul Curtis and Michael Moller were arrested when they went to Moller’s home at 50 Stetson St., at 2 p.m.
The bank sounded the alarm at 1 p.m. and Officer Keith Pires arrived to begin interviewing witnesses.
“Witnesses were able to provide a license number and uniform officers and detectives were able to get an address from that,” said Detective J.D. Costa, a department spokesman.
Police surrounded 50 Stetson St. and called out the department’s Emergency Response Unit. While officers were in hiding, watching the house, the car from the bank pulled up and Curtis and Moller went into the house, police report.
“While they were observing, Mr. Moller exited the house and was taken into custody,” Costa said.“At that point, the officers went to the second floor and arrested the second suspect.”
Police retreated and Detective Lawrence Ferreira got a search warrant for the apartment and for two cars.
Police allege they recovered cash in the apartment that was positively identified as having come from Rockland Trust.
Curtis, 26, of 35 Kellogg St., and Moller, 32, were both charged with armed and masked robbery and with carrying a firearm without a license.
Police report one masked man entered the bank, showed a gun and demanded money, leaving with cash and taking off in a waiting car that was driven by a second man.
Though only one man is alleged to have entered the bank, both men can be charged with robbery because police allege they are in a joint venture to commit a crime. In a conspiracy to commit a crime, the crimes of one participant can be charged against all the participants.
Armed robbery carries a possible sentence of life with a minimum sentence of five years.

Michael J. moller charged with 2 store and 2 bank robberies. Hang him by his nuts, hang the people that raised him, I'm sure they are just as guilty for everything that has happened with their family.

After 2 years Michael Moller pled guilty to 4 counts of armed robbery he received 108 months "AKA 9 years". The judge was unsympathetic to Michael and his excuses but spoke of the victoms, the tellers who were traumatized and all the people who were scammed and robbed by Michael. Michael Moller and Eric Moller are were they are today because of Randall Moller and Lisa Moller, the parents who were scamming and steeling money with them. all they see is $$$, the hell with anyone else. Randall Moller is a worthless piece of crap who is responsible for Eric's death and Michael's incarceration plus the people who were conned and victomized. how does he look in the mirror each day. " sociopath " ?, I think so. Randall Moller A true skidmark on the underware of society ,,, Danger Dave
