And that's not the only thing going on with the Coaches. And this is no lie any player will tell you what they witnessed and of course they covered it up and perry protected the coaches..
So sad that they base all attention on the game performance, winning, and forget the students.

Yes it was coach Gabriel Perez. All the football team witnessed this so called coach, degrade and call this kid a P-$$y, after hitting him over the head. Why is Gabriel Perez even coaching? Those coaches are supposed to be there to coach. Some of these kids get treated bad enough at home, just to show up at practice to get told more stuff from their own coaches! I think he's the only p=ssy on that football team. He's lucky he wasn't my kid he treated like that. My husband would have definitely showed him how much of a p-ssy Gabriel really is.

And let's not leave Coach Rios out he is the main Coach that allowed this and covered it up this story needs to be exposed parents have a rite to know how these coaches are and are treating our kids. if the Athletic Director can't handle his coaches then it's time to replace him this A.D should protect our children from any harm while they are in his care and if he is to scared to take control then he needs to be replaced!!

These are the same coaches who have taught these boys how to WIN!!! The boys are stronger and better conditioned because of those coaches.

They aren't complaining about "abuse", verbal or otherwise, it's the idiot parents. Those athletes will defend those coaches any day of the week!

Congrats to the the Jerseys and the coaches! We believe in you!

I have more of a problem with parents calling out the player's number when something is not done correctly . If you want to shout at yours that's fine but remember that the player has family watching too, idiot!

Man do u know what those coaches are doing? They are building character. I played for pretty much all those coaches in Premont and what they are doing is getting those boys ready for the real world. This world will eat u up and spit u out its not all peaches and cream. I feel like if a kid can't put up with the these things that come with the game then get out and join the cheerleaders. Those coaches give lessons on how to overcome obstacles and how to be men. I remember getting my butt chewed out several times but I'm still here and a better man for it. I even went to college for a year to be a coach/ educator cause of how I wanted to help troubled kids like I was.

No one is perfect. I do believe they do need to stop the profanity, but you have to admit these kids love and respect the coaches.Coach Perez seems to be an asset!

You all were not out in the field when this incident happened between the student & Coach Perez. It is very easy to judge and criticise, and hearing it from others will only make the incident worse. Coaches in any sport will yell & cuss at the players to help them reach their maximun potential!! It even happens in pro sports. The only difference between High school & the pros, is the big chunk of money you get . If your child does'nt wanna be "disciplined" by those wanting better for them, such as parents, teachers, bosses & yes coaches, then turn them out into the "REAL" world and wish them luck !!!!!! They'll be back before you know it. Coach Gabriel has done great things with the athletes & yes anyone of them will defend him on any given day !!! Stop hating on him, caused he has more balls than most of yall posting these negative comments!!!!

A student
doesn't need to be yelled bad words to reach there maximum potential. That is ridiculous. What happened to positive reinforcement. Professional educators have been trained not to treat student with profanity. No one says Mr. Perez is perfect. He is a fine excellent coach, but not perfect. He needs to continue his terrific job but not yell profanity at the students! We all have to leave room for improvement. You are right we were not on the field but grand mothers anunts and uncles come see their proud Jereseys and they don't want to hear this profanity!

comming from a players point of view...

these guys (coaches) have made us better people and better athletes. some times we get pissed off at them, yes but what they do is only to help us.. do you seriously want the old jersey team back? who never won a varsity game do you guys want a loosing team. nobody does..We have come so far because of these men and the things that happen on that field are between us and them. Every friday we put our bodies on the line trying to beat the shit out of someone for YOU'RE enjoyment.. so with all do respect to these people but stay out of it and enjoy some jersey football. let us worry about that stuff and ya'll just sit back and watch us work..and to the people who support us and have our back throuhg thick and thin..thank you

First and foremost I want you and all the Jersey athletes to know that we as a community are so very proud of ALL of you and what you have accomplished. I am a Jersey fan, win or lose. Now, speaking as a parent, a mother, OUR job is to above all else protect you, our children. I don't have a son on the team. My children aren't even in high school period but I am a parent. You have to understand that as parents it's in our heart and soul to protect children, any children. Even if their not our own, they belong to someone. Probably even someone we know since our town is so small. I realize you guys are not so much 'children' anymore, you have grown up to be incredible young men and women but to each of your parents you will always be their babies and the instinct to protect never goes away. We only want what's best for you boys. I will always speak up and protect ANY child who is being mistreated in any way and my hope is that if anyone ever knew of one of my own being mistreated they would do the same. We share a certain bond being from such a small community and part of that, for me at least, is that all children become OUR children. Just know that we support you and we've always got your back.
